In 1914 France’s population was about 40,000,000, of whom 827,000 were under arms with a trained reserve of 1,325,000. Of Germany’s population of approximately 68,000,000, its regular forces totaled 761,000 and 1,180,000 stood in reserve. Both countries had about 5,000,000 other young men to be conscripted into service if necessary.
In 1939 France’s population still stood at 40,000,000 and it had mobilized 900,000 combatants. Nazi Germany’s population, swelled by its assimilation of Austria and the Sudetenland into its aegis, totaled some 80,600,000 and a total of 4,722,000 were in some form of Wehrmacht service.
France truly lost a generation of young men to ww1. 1.5 million deaths and 4.2 million wounded. So total casualties at 71% of all French that fought. Their fighting age male population wouldn't have rebounded until when, 1960s, 1970s without additional war?
I was watching Col Macgregor talk about how France's military had become overrun with political yes men instead of hard military strategist after ww1. The win gave France a since of superiority and they didn't feel like they had to try to stay safe and instead just needed to look good and feel good. He made a direct correlation to our leadership in the US military calling Milley out specifically.

I had two Gr uncles that served under Patton during WW2. They’re dead now, they considered the French military leaders cowards and had little for them. The French people were very resilient according to them. 80 years later, but still probably relevant

Every electrician, carpenter, mechanic, laborer, plumber who has eventually built their own business and/or earned wealth for their labor should shun your foolishness as they would be generalized into a common workforce in your world and would never achieve wealth.
Third world countries know that free enterprise is the mechanism for their countries’ prosperity and to raise the economic levels of all of its people. You can only claim a better myth because of the standard of living and prosperity the one you curse provided. You prefer the greed of government and the select it chooses over the economic success of a system that provides opportunities. You will hyper focus on and exaggerate the current system’s flaws at the expense of all that is good and the potential it provides for each individual.

The wealthy already pay the greatest share of tax revenue, Do you blame them for not wanting to pay more? In 2020, I took a photo of a drop box in Fairfax County in the Government Center - had an old lady (about 80 years old) sitting in front of it. That was “security”.
Any common sense person could see, just from that one drop box set up, just how ripe for fraud US elections are.
