Disney Cutting 7,000 Jobs, or 3% of Workforce, Eyes $5.5 Billion in Total Cost Reduction.
Hey Disney, send that check for $1 billion made payable to the Great State of Florida before you go completely out of business.
Poor Disney
I would call that grandstanding. What is the point of asking questions, refusing to allow an answer, and then making a speech? She should let them try to answer and then use their answer, or lack thereof, to prove her point.Go get 'em Anna Paulina
This is a new GOP congresswoman who replaced a long term Democrat. She ran on going after high tech collusion with the government and is following through. Good
I call it getting at the truth. These liberal witnesses don't want to answer a simple question pointing to their own work. It was a yes or no answer but the witness was trying to stall. Representatives only have a certain amount of time to ask these questions and obtain answers. So the left tactic is to stall.I would call that grandstanding. What is the point of asking questions, refusing to allow an answer, and then making a speech? She should let them try to answer and then use their answer, or lack thereof, to prove her point.
Was off work yesterday and today so I've been watching a good chunk of these hearings. Good stuff. Will anything come of them though? Probably not.
Maybe some truth can finally be exposed so that in itself is good. But nobody is held accountable. The only way one can be accountable is to have a fair justice system and hearings are exposing just how corrupt the Federal Justice System is.Was off work yesterday and today so I've been watching a good chunk of these hearings. Good stuff. Will anything come of them though? Probably not.
Killing a known Terrorist, preventing more death and carnage, vs. Cutting off a major source of power to the people of a large portion of Europe. I can see how those might be equal.

There are many big corporations on the verge of cutting thousands of jobs.Disney Cutting 7,000 Jobs, or 3% of Workforce, Eyes $5.5 Billion in Total Cost Reduction.

False.Weird how they left out all the details huh?
She allowed him to answer but, he chose to deflect so, she made it clear.I would call that grandstanding. What is the point of asking questions, refusing to allow an answer, and then making a speech? She should let them try to answer and then use their answer, or lack thereof, to prove her point.
What does this say about........hmmm....."good Catholics"? 😉
In most hearings the Dem/libs don't even ask a question of the witness (especially if they are conservative and/or Repub). They use all their time to speechify, grandstand, and accuse.Funny the left says it is grandstanding when someone asks a liberal a question but for the past years the Dims side of the aisle has promoted lies and false narratives over and over. Isn't it time the truth be told and lies exposed.
A lawyer in that position would make him answer. She gave up and made a speech. She allowed him to answer but, he chose to deflect so, she made it clear.
It will thrill the base, but it was too aggressive for those not predisposed. When crossing a witness, you want everyone in the room to believe the witness is evading or playing coy before you got after them. You want the people watching to want you to put an end to their behavior. If you move too quickly, you run the risk of looking as if you are not being fair. I know they are on the clock, but, IMO, she should have given him a chance to give his response. As it is now, it looks like he wanted to answer, but she would not let him. I think it is a youthful mistake. You don’t want to appear afraid of the answer. She allowed him to answer but, he chose to deflect so, she made it clear.
Yes, most of the time. It is worthless. In most hearings the Dem/libs don't even ask a question of the witness (especially if they are conservative and/or Repub). They use all their time to speechify, grandstand, and accuse.
To some extent, yes. But, then almost all of these hearings are grandstanding by that standard. It seemed to me that she asked a pretty straight forward question and asked for a "yes" or "no" answer. Roth hemmed and hawed, and wouldn't 'classify that as...', etc. all in an attempt to avoid answering the question. When it became apparent that he was not ever going to answer the question, she answered it for him while providing evidence that her answer was, in fact, the truth.I would call that grandstanding. What is the point of asking questions, refusing to allow an answer, and then making a speech? She should let them try to answer and then use their answer, or lack thereof, to prove her point.
I ****ed her! Don't remember much about it because I had been hanging out in the garage with Hunter all day and didn't even know what planet I was on. I remember she wanted to call me "big guy" a lot. Small world, huh?
It's not about being equal. It's about acts of war or not.Killing a known Terrorist, preventing more death and carnage, vs. Cutting off a major source of power to the people of a large portion of Europe. I can see how those might be equal.

He is grandstanding for his folks in West Virginia. He supports the bill or would not have voted for it. So shutup Manchin and get off TV claiming you are worried about debt.Shouldn’t have supported the bill moron.Manchin furious with Biden White House over climate law's implementation: 'This is bulls--t'
