IMO the US may run into economic problems that overshadow our social concerns and even the wars we fight

I think there's enough people now that if businesses went down thay road they'd be OUT of business quickly. So I say- let them do so, but ONLY if it is POSTED CLEARLY on the front doors, social media, and websites so no one bothers to enter there that knows it's wrong.

Early in the Covid mess I went to a local national chain restaurant (Outback Steak House) and they wanted customers to put on a mask when you entered their restaurant and walk to the table with it on. Once you were at the table you could take it off but if you went to the men's room to wash your hands you had to have it on.

Lauding Santos for his "integrity and honesty" is something else, even for this thread. Also, I don't think for a second that he voluntarily gave up his committee seats. McCarthy basically forced him to do so in order to be able to pursue removing Omar from the foreign affairs committee. My prediction is that Santos will end up getting indicted soon for these campaign finance issues. Sure, there are many other liars and frauds in Congress, but this guy is a breed of his own.
