I’ve earned over $2400 using Ibotta over the past few years. It has some really good bonuses at times.
Yes it does. We have used it to generate a little stockpile of certain items like deodorants, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper and paper towels. When our Daughter comes over she always says she is going to the store, which is just the guestroom bookshelves.

So we still backing the blue? Pulled him over with no probable cause, then chased him to his house. Beat him to death for 15 mins. 5 large officers couldn't cuff 1 little scared dude. The morons were macing each other and using it as an excuse to start kicking him in the head and beat him with batons. When they were finally done beating him they just tossed him aside and stood around chatting for 10mins. Republicans to busy trying to demonize teachers to worry themselves with police murdering the people they are supposed to protect. The average pay for police officers is 67,000 plus pretty generous benefits. Sure they could make a little more but money isn't the root problem. It's a systemic culture problem, they just openly don't give a shit about the populace. And now the populace openly hates the police and its a Neverending spiral to the bottom.

It would be fantastic if we could get our troops of out of those places.

1) Cold War is over. Russia is not our geopolitical enemy anymore. That honor now belongs to China
2) Europeans need to get off their asses and defend their own countries. Not our job. We’re $30T+ in debt and stretched too thin as is.

And last but most important…

3) What benefit does the United States get out of it?
So Putin threatening to lob nukes anywhere & everywhere causes us to leave all of these places doesn't result in him taking anything he wants and a collapse of the economies of the countries fearing him? Doesn't cause China to do the same and us to react the same? And America goes back to its shell & its economy isolated unto itself will be fine? LOL. Net, US doesn't get a benefit except in a dream world.

100% incorrect. George Floyd died because he was a black man. That cop wouldn't have knelt on a random white woman's neck til they died like that given the same circumstances. You know that.
Where is the outrage over this incident?

I'll hang up and listen.

What's the alternative? Anarchy? Hell, yes, I still strongly back the blue.

Good grief.

I know this sounds crazy to you. But how about world peace instead? I know...it doesn't quench your thirst for American blood.
So you are so seriously worried that Putin will start with nukes on Ukraine that we should unilaterally pull back from the world because of this worry & that will result in peace - vs. emboldening Russia/China/Iran to threaten & actually take more expansion actions because we show we react by retreating when threatened?

And I'm the insane one. LOL.

And you avoided answering my question - as expected.

Around 1175 people were killed by police in 2022. That's been a pretty consistent number over the last 5 years.

64 police were killed in 2022. It's clear to me from that number it's a dangerous job. If any other occupation had that many deaths, OHSA would shut them down.

So, how many of those 1175 deaths are due to police casually walking up to people & gunning them down vs. people being sought for a crime or even just being questioned for a disturbance or a possible crime & the person decides to attack the police in some way including pulling a gun? Do you let someone fleeing with a weapon just run off since they are unlikely dangerous to anyone?

Yea, I back the blue because collectively they do a great job & there's no better alternative. I've yet to run from a cop or attack one & none have touched me.

Painting with a broad brush. The cops I have known or just casually talked to have been really good folks. Of course I don't live in a crime crap hole. I haven't watched the video and don't care to. I don't want to see someone getting beat to death. Just a sad situation. It seems these guys stepped way out of bounds and now they will go to prison. But don't sit there and lump all cops together and say they are all like this. It's a lazy take.

Plenty of jobs are far more lethal than police work. OHSA doesn't shut them down.

About 60 roofers and loggers die per year. They don't kill anyone in return. And police don't just kill people. They ruin 10s of thousands of lives each year with the moronic war on drugs. Don't even get me started on civil forfeiture. Just like with schools, we've let law enforcement run unchecked completely out of control. The whole country just needs to calm the **** down.

Since the Article 2 of the constitution established the right for the guy who is nominating her, one would think she would know the basic building blocks of the govt. Its first 3 Articles. I'd love him to have asked her about A3 instead. His questions showed that she is not a constitutional scholar much less a casual reader thereof.
Article III would have been a more appropriate question.

They literally just look ridiculous going there with that narrative. It’s just lunacy.
The left wants and needs racism to keep their people in line. The two most important distractors used by them to try and take attention away from the mess they have created with Biden is the race card (completely overused and over drawn) and Trump.

They are desperate at this point. Everything is now racist.

I think it's unfair to in effect blame her inability to answer these questions on her race or ethnicity. I'd prefer to say it's just because she was unprepared. I have no idea whether she is qualified (or not) in general.
Your argument is she was unprepared.

I havent followed this at all. Was she surprised with the interview? Or did she randomly show up at the capitol one day and won a drawing to interview?

If the answer is no, and she knew she was coming into an interview, then whose fault is it that she didnt prepare for basic questions?

False.

Well...it's my weekly FJB time. Friday is grocery day. Cannot believe the number of items we buy on a regular basis that have DOUBLED in price in a little over a year.
And the gov't says inflation is 7%. BS.
Heard a prediction this morning that we should expect grocery items to increase another 7-8% in price. Restaurant costs are already greatly inflated. I spent $20 on a Jersey Mike’s sandwich for dinner last week. How often are people going to do that?
