Gonna get some farm fresh eggs and waterglass them. They'll last a few years on the counter. Been canning a lot the last few years and this year will be no different. I wish it would dry up so I can get the ground turned over. Gonna start early this year with some cole crops.

We have separate accounts with Ibotta. I have close to $300 waiting to be deposited to our bank. Last summer she had almost $600 deposited. Basically, you used fresh unwashed eggs in a sort of brine that never penetrates the shell. Keep them on your counter. They will stay fresh for close to two years. Now, we haven't done it yet but it's on the menu.

You know how we're saving at the grocery right now? We aren't buying NOTHIN. They want to keep raising the prices, that's their greedy business. I'm not buy jack unless it's down to what it was a year ago. Supply and demand is not law, but it certainly does help rein in the price gouging some.

Matter of fact, just today I got some groceries. Spent <95. "Saved" 20+. Won't go back for a few weeks or a month, depending. It's the only way I can send a message right now.

Just adding to your comment. If you wash the eggs you open the pores. They have to be fresh from the chickens patootie. You can’t water glass store bought eggs. You use pickling lime in the water. It doesn’t penetrate the eggs. Or affect their taste. Have a jar on the shelf in the basement.

The whole things bizarre. The Secret Service has cameras monitoring the place. Not sure if that’s the break in feed but yeah you would think it would be accurate. Maybe set to Eastern time? Weird. Just chalk it up to San Francisco I guess.
