I've been coming to these boards forever. No idea how I never saw this political thread. I was wondering why no one was talking about Trump here. I went back and read/relived election night with you guys. A great night for America. The tears of these liberals is great. Now lock her ass up.

Go back and read the last 3 months. Get a sense of people like @AlbanyWildCat and their epic confidence. It makes election night that much better.

Amazing when you think about it. They had a machine & his ground game consisted mostly of huge rallies & social media.
When I attended graduate school, our professor called it something like "inspiring individual greatness".

I swear, I still shake my GD head over this grass-roots victory. It's not more of the same. It is much greater.

I swore after Albany crawled under my skin a few times earlier this year, I planned to rub this victory in his face until the end of time. But I will not. No, I will not gloat. I understand his positions and respect them. As it turned out, he and everyone else -- myself included -- missed the greatest political upset of our lifetime.

So Hilliary has really bought a mansion in a foreign country?

Look I enjoy seeing losers lose, but this is enough. Trump can win over a lot of votes if he just makes an early effort to ease this situation out.

True. Agreed. With the right incentives, many jobs and investment can and will return.
There will be more jobs available than people that are willing to work them if he goes through with rebuilding our infrastructure like he said. Lots of roads and bridges need to be updated.

I don't think companies move jobs overseas because they don't like America. If he can make it fiscally reasonable, I think a lot of work will come back home. Chasing companies overseas is probably part of the big plan dems have for globalization. Ha #newsflash

Would like to see Sheriff Clarke in the Trump administration. If not him then Arpaio.
Ha ha, good old "fry them in the Arizona sun" Sheriff Joe. Love his minimalist, drive-them-until-they-drop approach (old Army self speaking). Ha ha, but you can only get away with murder for so long. Heh, he's a living human rights violation. Mucho respect, but we're now living in the 21st century.

You don't have to hold back too much, that whiny SJW hasn't shown up yet. I'm kind of surprised, since he told us that complaining about an election outcome is "un-American"

I'm gonna remain cool. This win by The Donald was totally unexpected. Hell, I blasted Trump for questionable decisions during his campaign and I'll be damned if he still won. Good lord, every thing and every body, except for true Paddock political hacks, wrote him off, me included. I seriously thought Trump would call it quits, and I still voted for him as an FU to the establishment. I really thought all this was a GD joke. Man, how wrong was I.

I was on him for the whole ride. Toward the end though I was feeling like it wasn't going to happen. I didn't think enough people were hearing the truth about her. She was probably the ONLY person they could have put up as a nominee that would lose the race. Kind of funny.

I cringed at times during each debate, or any other time that I thought he was talking like he would to a small group of close friends even though he was talking to the whole world.

He spoke his mind. Looks like it was the right thing to do to get what he wanted.

BP (and Enron, for that matter) happened years after the HCA case and none of this digression on your part makes any difference in what BBI and I were discussing: putting Rick Scott in charge of HHS would look awful.

I won't refute your judgment, Rick Scott, as I'm sure you wouldn't refute judgments of persons obama actually appointed to recent cabinet / advisory positions, including persons as top advisors to Dept. of State, who believe in Sharia law, and the application of such laws in US courts; and to Asst. Dept. Sec. Education, founder of an organization devoted to promoting homosexuality agenda/ideology to school kids at age 5; the appointment of a deputy atty. general who once argued for the constitutional right to obtain and possess child pornography; an Iranian-born senior advisor with LONG ties to communist sympathizers; and multiple persons with strong connections to multi-billionaire George Soros, a non-American who further undermines US sovereignty with each and every transaction he makes. partial list, yet . . . to coda.

11 year old attacked and put in crutches by classmates, after finding out he voted for trump in a mock election

Check out @Pamela_Moore13's Tweet:

So moveon.org sent invitations to the neighborhood websites like nextdoor.com to organize the protests in Seattle. I assume they used other social media as well to organize these things. I also assume they did the same in the other cities where these protests occurred. Soros dropping some cash.

When did that become illegal? Mercy! This country is going to shit!
What? your missing the point, typical. You asked how he won the election if it was rigged...I stated the obvious. They calculated they didn't have to worry about past Obama voters...they figured they would do what they were told. They didn't realize many of his voters would not support her.

Just 3 days ago I thought the right would never win another Presidential election. These liberal idiots are going to prove me correct. Only the left is never going to win. And the liberal media continues to double down on their idiocy. Wow. How the tides have shifted.

With a galvanized base the mid term elections could be a bloodbath in favor of the Republicans. Except for McConnell. Fvck him.

Trump is correct. It is the media and Obamas fault of these foolish demonstrations. Obama spent a week saying Trump was unfit and completely forgot that their was a price to pay. The media leaped up every word and these poor foolish kids bought into the lefts dream.

A funny thing happened on the way to the White House, the people spoke with their vote.

Now if Obama wants a legacy, he needs to come out and call these protests what they are, hate crimes.
