I have known a seriously bad addict, I don't think shaming them is a good idea, it destroys people and families and I believe at a certain point the person isn't making decisions anymore...the addiction truly takes away their ability to make moral decisions.
I have made fun of Hunter's addictions, I wouldn't if he seemed like a good guy, but because he is a corrupt Biden perv I do make fun of it.
I seriously don't understand things anymore, how can a health organization say be empowered that you are using safely. I certainly believe in the approach of not shaming them but we are getting to the point where we celebrate humans worst tendencies because of the fear of hurting feelings...like being morbidly obese.
Again, probably doesn't help to shame a fat person and mock them, but the 'beautiful at any size' crap doesn't help them either.
The empowerment comes when any of us try to fight our struggles, not acting like our worst flaws are empowering or good in any way.
