Amen. I used to absolutely love MLB. I started watching it less and less, and then finally during the Covid 2020 season I mostly tuned it out altogether.
I was actually excited about the 2021 season and planned to watch more games etc in the spirit getting back to normal…. Then on the second day of the season MLB moves the All-Star game out of Atlanta due to Georgia’s election law. What a sh!tty thing to do….
I watched a little bit of MLB when I took the family out to eat a few weeks ago; it was on the TV and couldn’t avoid it. I’m pretty much done with it. Crap like what the Detroit Tigers are doing makes me nauseous. That is all….

No… I’m actually a Cardinal fan like the majority of folks in the western Ky / Evansville area. I’ve only bothered to check the MLB standings once since the season started….. maybe a month ago? Maybe the Cardinals were in second place at the time?

I was surprised when I heard that, I would have thought Albert accomplished that when he first came up. Goldschimdt is having his best year with us so far, has a 19 game hitting streak, batting .355. I have been betting pretty much every day during his streak that he would have an RBI.

Remember back in the Clinton years where the Chinese were losing every rocket/missle they launched. Seem to recall the guidance system they couldn't figure out. I think one of Clinton's supporters...who was CEO of a defense contractor, got an exemption from the government to supply China with our system. Rest is history.
I doubt that guy could lift a shovel. These protesters need to get a job. My older brother used to work in downtown Charlotte, NC. About 5 years ago there was protesting and rioting going on. I told him to be careful. He responded, “I’m safe, these rioters don’t come out until it’s late after dark because they sure as hell don’t work!”

I wish Bader would hit at least 275. He's as good as Curt Flood defensively. I've seen both and Bill James (with some qualifiers in his 2000 Baseball Abstract) calls Curt the best ever. I love the way he hustles and does all the little things right.
BTW I saw an ad on their broadcast for a "Pride Night" coming up soon. St Louis is pretty woke to. I'm trying not to give up on baseball.
Part of the reason the actual problems will never be solved, for political talking points or media sensationalism, they change the definitions. It's the same when they count murders and they throw suicides in the count.

There's no conflict. Regardless of whether the candidate he picked was ahead or not, unintelligent voters were swayed towards candidates he picked. That mattered in OH Senate & maybe PA Senate, but it didn't in most as his picks were already ahead.
Don't know. But not because of Trump because he hadn't endorsed them yet. I think the OH & PA Senate Trump-endorsed candidates could be in tighter races than other candidates would have been.
