Stern has always been a blowhard Lib. At one time he was all about rebelling against the elite but he got rich and then craved being accepted into their club. His biggest fans are just so addicted to his show they won’t leave but have to think he has lost a lot of listeners over the past 5+ years. I stopped listening several years ago because his show simply was not funny anymore.

I totally believe this because most who are free market conservatives are already here. I say this because a close friend married a man from Ukraine and he told me so. He is more conservative than 95% of us on this board.

That’s the problem with Jackson, there are federal sentencing guidelines that called for more than 10 years in prison! She gave them 3 months…I’ll say it again, 3 MONTHS!!! Then she rationalized it without providing one shred of case law to justify her incredibly light sentencing for pedos. You should try reading about this before blindly throwing your support behind this woman, oh sorry, I’m not a biologist, so I shouldn’t call her that.

There is nothing more to say to someone who gets just about everything so incredibly wrong.
I don’t expect the nominees to be perfect and know the answer to every question. That’s not realistic. I do however expect them to know what a woman is and not defend pedos.
That’s an extremely low bar that Jackson can’t clear.
Noone in good faith can vote to confirm this fool or a judge. Not only is her record absolutely abhorrent but time and again she displays an inability to grasp the simple most fundamental aspects of her job and function.
She has no idea if she believes in deterrence yet deterrence is a major factor required to be considered under 18 usc 3553a when sentencing a defendant. Every party before her that received an objectionable sentence should now just move to set that aside and ask for a new sentencing hearing. If you don't know what it is - you definitely didn't consider it as required.
If she can't define woman in the legal context then she's admitting he's incapable of adjudicating any case that involves sex. That includes among other things any equal protection or title 9 case. Nothing to do with employment discrimination. On and on.
She is one of the most incompetent unqualified judges I ever saw to hold any seat. She literally doesn't know what the law is so instead just makes some judgment call borne out of radical nonsense.
I am just amazed that the usual suspects on the Paddock are against Biden's Supreme Court nominee. Who would have guessed?? And just about fell in the floor in shock to read this AM that McConnell announced he was against her too. Never saw that one coming. It just goes to show you that incredible things happen some days when you least expect it.

It is all political posturing, she just got confirmed for the DC Circuit last year 53-47. Be honest, you guys would be against any S Ct nominee Biden puts up, the reasons may differ from one candidate to the other, but you still would be against the choice, as would Cruz, McConnell, Hawley, et al. Anyone could see from 100 miles away that the vote is going to end up 51-50, or maybe 51-49 if a Republican breaks ranks, but Jackson is going to get confirmed.
