“Just keep selling.”

Exactly. Battery tech is not there yet. We are still running on decades old technology and our understanding of capacity vs efficiency is just now starting to blossom. Unless Elon or some other genius pulls a rabbit out of the hat it will be at least another 6-10 years before battery tech is ready to roll.Yeah I love a car where you have to replace the battery after 10 years for a price of $12k.
Yeah I love a car where you have to replace the battery after 10 years for a price of $12k.
That brings up something I haven't thought of. When someone who has an EV and they go to sell it after 3,4,5 years....as a potential buyer do you look at mileage or do you look at number of hours used, etc.?Yeah I love a car where you have to replace the battery after 10 years for a price of $12k.
I assume you're still ignoring me from my morning of ranting the other day, but anywho.Yeah I love a car where you have to replace the battery after 10 years for a price of $12k.
Russian oil means shit to the gas situation. Most of what we get from them are petroleum products. Those are going to hurt in other areas because they are refined products and we lack the capacity to refine.
This whole situation is another elitist manufactured problem. Stop being dicks and start up the refineries that are idle, turn on the pipelines, and start drilling for oil. Enough of this shit.
I have no problems with EVs. I really do think they are the future, but you cannot just make the leap to electric at the snap of the fingers. The tech isn't even ready yet, ffs.
When my daughter was looking at used cars about a year ago, She kept showing me things like a Prius or Chevy Volt, all with 150K or more miles on them. I cautioned her that those cars are likely on the market partly because they would be due for a battery replacement in fairly short order and that would run her another 4-6K she doesn't have. That brings up something I haven't thought of. When someone who has an EV and they go to sell it after 3,4,5 years....as a potential buyer do you look at mileage or do you look at number of hours used, etc.?
The newest Aptos panels, the IQ8, actually form a microgrid which stores energy on its own. What that means is that you can effectively have a 'generator' effect if there's an outage, which can power a few things, like the AC or the fridge. Generators themselves cost $17,000 so that's a massive help.Exactly. Battery tech is not there yet. We are still running on decades old technology and our understanding of capacity vs efficiency is just now starting to blossom. Unless Elon or some other genius pulls a rabbit out of the hat it will be at least another 6-10 years before battery tech is ready to roll.
All of that says nothing about our crappy grid.
Did I hear you mention one time that you sell solar? How's the efficiency coming along on that? Was thinking the other day about looking into investing in a bank.
They do have electric mowers now, and that's all well and good if you live on a postage stamp lot that you push mow anyway. I think there are a few electric riding mowers out there, but you certainly won't see grass cutting services going that route. You can’t even mow lawns with electric. I mean the whole idea of electric cars is so laughably insane…right now.
We haven’t even taken the step to hybrids yet.
It’s not about EVs or clean energy. It’s about collapsing this country, and if you don’t understand that by now…
I hope to God this country comes to it's senses sometime soon and puts the right people in charge. That statement by Biden should come back to haunt him at election time. It should also be held out there like Obama's "Magic wand" comment when proven utterly false.
It's all on purpose in order to facilitate the Great Reset. They aren't even hiding it anymore and I haven't heard much of a peep out of Republicans as they sit back and allow it to happen.

Yeah, and I’ve always heard the money people say to not buy new because it loses so much value once you drive it off the lot. So how will we judge used EVs? Will it then be better to buy new? Technology should keep getting better. Do you want to buy old tech? That brings up something I haven't thought of. When someone who has an EV and they go to sell it after 3,4,5 years....as a potential buyer do you look at mileage or do you look at number of hours used, etc.?
Fitst, Youre free to leave. But then you wouldnt get your soros bucks or zuckerbucks. This thread’s hilarious. Ever since the invasion there have been pages and pages saying, “You know they aren’t serious with these sanctions, our criminal administration is still buying their oil!” Now we stop and it’s immediately, “That’ll make gas go up!! Noooooooo!!!!!!!!” Y’all don’t get to have it both ways.
Not saying I’m against it. All those states that stopped counting to cheat should have the fraud exposed and their elections de-certified.True, but it would expose the Election Rigging and officially make Biden an Illegitimate President.
So you put it all on Kav when Barrett & Roberts didn't vote to stop the state courts either. Good reasoning.More turncoating from Kavanaugh

45% of voter? More like 45% of Dims. His ratings are on the rise? I call bullsh*t
Biden's poll numbers bounce out of State of the Union ...
You know times are bad when you remember the Jimmy Carter years as the good old days.
So he's leaving more supply available for Europe.
I didn't call the real data a lie, did I? But you lied about me anyway. LMAO.Oh, so VHS is cool with all the new information/data that is coming out on the vaccine.
I mean, the real threat is some meme someone posted that wasn’t correct, although the real info/data that is correct is scary as hell. Don’t mind that, tho.
Still be better than bidimMaybe he will run in ‘24.
What they really need to do is remove the Russia exceptions for energy payments in the Swift system.Heard Ted Cruz on Glenn Beck this AM.
He ran his mouth about how not importing oil from Russia was a “good thing” and he has told Biden this for months. “He’s finally listening.”
Then goes on to say that it’s “not enough” and that we need to supply oil to Europe and get them off of Russian oil.
Here’s the thing. He’s right.
But, quit acting as if Biden is doing anything right.
Assume that cutting off Russian oil is part of a 100 step plan to destroy America, and don’t say, “I agree with that part of the plan.”
You must look at everything he does within the context of his total plan and realize it’s all active steps toward our Marxist future.
Doing this in every county clerk office - 120 - was a total waste & a government employment boondoggle.OK, so now, in KY at least, it is getting more difficult to get an ID. The new regional model sucks ass.
My step daughter turned 16 last summer. She tried to go to the county clerks office in Spencer County to get her learner's permit. They told her that process had shifted to Frankfort and that Spencer Counties regional office was Frankfort. So My wife drives her to Frankfort to get her permit and she gets turned away. She needed some piece of paper from school. They had to have the physical piece of paper. They wouldn't accept and emailed version or a faxed version or whatever. They had to have the physical piece of paper from the school. So they sit on this for a while because of school and work schedules and whatnot, then they got an appointment this week. Since the wife had to work she had her grandmother take her. They turned her away again, because her grandmother wasn't her mother. I guess she had to have an actual legal guardian bring her. Which you would think her FREAKING GRANDMOTHER would be sufficient in this case. They also keep telling her that Frankfort is where she has to go when the damn websites even say you can go to ANY branch. I got my Real ID in Louisville. I didn't have to go to Frankfort for it.
And no, none of this changes my mind about Voter ID.
So any data that refutes "the real data" is a lie? How do you discern what's "real data" and what's not? are you the arbiter of that? or do you rely on Twitter and facebook "factcheckers" to tell you what's real data?I didn't call the real data a lie, did I? But you lied about me anyway. LMAO.
Dude getting REAL id was a nightmare. I brought more than enough documentation. I live in lex but went to Richmond as I figured it would be less crowded and faster even with an appointment.OK, so now, in KY at least, it is getting more difficult to get an ID. The new regional model sucks ass.

Depends on how you look at it. Forcing people to drive an hour or more away isn't very efficient either. There's no reason why the permit test cannot be issued at a county level. Or for ID purposes, take all the information and phot at the county level and send it off for the actual ID to be processed. I can understand the physical ID needing to be done elsewhere because it became more sofisticated, but the rest of the process should be done at the county level.Doing this in every county clerk office - 120 - was a total waste & a government employment boondoggle.
Huh? where? asking for a friend. It’s all over Twitter but don’t remember it on here about the sex education summer camp being set up by four Kentucky women perverts
