Haha, that show. Highlights are pig f**ker and the WraithBabes one. Getting cucked on a nationally televised talent show by a porn kingpin after spending like all your money would have to suck.

Decent though, but I have not seen anything past season 1.

Just watched this season's Metalhead episode and it was good. Post-apocalyptic wasteland where robots hunt the remaining humans.

Except...they aren't Terminator type robots, they look like the Boston Dynamic robot dogs -- but lemme tell ya, they're bastard dogs.

Bottom line: this kind of shit is inevitable. F**king geeks are gonna screw around and f**k things up for everybody.

He was a good dude. I remember he used to dance for those in minstrel shows and county fairs throughout the South. He also drinks a bit.

Internet has been won today by you.

One opened up near me about 2 months go maybe. I haven't ventured in yet.

Gut feeling on UT tomorrow night?

@Willy4UK : Hey bro. Prepping for the trip to FL. I fly next Saturday to Orlando. Still looking at meeting up on January 16 with you and your babe. Picked up another sixer of Texas brews. Look forward to seeing y'all again. Had a great time in Lex.

Heard / felt an enormous weather/research balloon explode for the first time

It's more violent than you'd think

PS: Anyone remember Jane (think first name is right?) Kennedy from the 80's doing in house commentary for CBS football

Am I glitching or wasn't she one of the hottest women on TV ever?

Do you happen to make regular trips to FL?

Clearwater is being added to my business travel rotation around Feb or Mar

It's moving forward a lot faster and on varying - platforms / intended uses than most realize

The ones that were supposed to be like field pack mules for combat troops -- failed live drills because they made too much freakin noise (ref Popular Science article from about 2 or 3 months ago).....Marines were trying to maneuver tactically and they said it sounded like a lawn mower running the whole time[laughing]

Speaking of a walk through "The Uncanny Valley"
Just watched HBO's "West World" and started reading up a little on A/I advances

Not creepy AT ALLLLLL

Haha, I can picture a Marine fragging a robot mule for giving away their position . You know, I would think that sound dampening would be one of the easier engineering hurdles to get over, but I’m ignorant when it comes to stuff like that.

Humanity is ultimately screwed though when it comes to AI. It’s only a matter of time before a Lawnmower Man escapes and clones himself a million times over and kills us all.

I Agree on that being something that should be fixable for at least -- some range of situations

The oddest thing about the rapidly advancing AI phenomena -- is that a church has already been established to WORSHIP it

I'll leave you with that -- I have read one article on the event and it seems to be accurate .... where it goes from here is hard to say (but I have my opinions)

One of the quotes from the article went something like.......When you create an entity that's "A billion times smarter" than humans ..... what else would you call it besides A God.....

Old novels from Heinlein, Asimov and Bradbury are popping up in my head now
