Rupp Arena Appreciation thread

Just wanted to say, even though I hadn't been to a game in years, it's remarkable and amazing the great, positive changes and atmosphere that Rupp Arena (!!!) provides - to see a quality, top-notch hosted college basketball game .....

Let's hear it for how awesome Rupp Arena was this year !
(and the crowds!! ..... No bottles thrown ! 😉 )

And welcome the tournament games and host them so that everyone, just like the announcer Brian Custer said in the Senior night blowout of LSU (he did the LSU game with Fish) simply said on the air :

" You know, I've done a number of times on the road - first time here at Rupp ? ... whew ... THEY LOVE THEIR BASKETBALL HERE !"

I'm glad and happy he comes away with that as the first feeling in his heart. We sure do love our basketball and we love Rupp Arena as our home court!

I just felt it a really positive development for all the hard work done by the university and in the quality of Rupp Arena. It's a top destination in the country for a college basketball game. Truly is a special place and experience.

This year was much more like it in terms of excitement and having a lot of fun at Rupp. Give Pope a great deal of credit for bringing the excitement back.
