Will Muschamp inherited a team that went 3-9 the year before. In his second season, goes 9-4 with a bowl win against Michigan who had a 16 point lead. Maybe in year six next year Mark will do something similar...

Georgia should have ran it more that half. Probably doesn't matter with this Georgia defense getting rolled.

Can you imagine being an adult in the 1950s or earlier? Having to put on a damn suit to do anything. Imma head down to the store to pick up some pears. Better put on my bow tie. the big 10 showed out during the bowls, they were the best conference from top to bottom this year, buutttt their top teams were just a notch under the final 4. everybody don't get a trophy and it looks like the 2 best teams all year are going to play for the title.
could you imagine NIck Saban losing to a below average to bad Syracuse? or giving up 55 to anyone really much less an unranked foe? Oklahoma was damn good. that game was a toss up. Georgia beat Notre Dame on the road, Ga Tech, and their SEC foe sans Auburn on the road and revenged that in the title game. They just beat Oklahoma as well NO one in the country has that resume at this point. they are damn deserving. and Bama is being Bama. Clemson is damn good too and getting shut down. sry Big 10, you had a great run and a great bowl season, but you are still watching 2 SEC teams play for the real hardware. gotta sting a little.
being a middle class living white dude, living in the 50's would have been quite cosy. Mash is right, the women knew their place and were much happier too. one income could afford a good living for a family. i would wear the damn suit for that. :downside: depending on your age or your sons age, getting drafted for Vietnam a decade later would have sucked balls.

But it doesn't change the fact that UK foosball is still pretty much stuck in the mud. The real reason Stoops went for 2 with the horrible play call:
His contract states that he gets more bonus years added to his contract for losing by less points in a bowl game.
If we had lost by 7 points in OT then only 4 years would have been added to his contract. Losing by only 1 point in regulation in a bowl game got 12 years added to his contract.

Congrats @Kooky Kats that is a very impressive accomplishment. Almost as impressive as being the fantastical foosball champion of the world. Almost.
Good job on being in first place amongst the losers though. No shame in that.
Hal Mumme's tenure at UK is an interesting case study. Aside from the NCAA infractions at the end...most look fondly on that time in Cats football history. Mainly because of the air raid offense and big scores the offense put up. Even when we lost it was...exciting.
But Mumme had a losing record while at UK. He was 20-27, only had one winning season at 7-5, and lost the only two bowl games he took us to over that time frame.
