Can you point to where somebody was criticizing Jamal Murray?

It's hard to express how much I hate posts like this. If you have proof of this, or a true source, then say as much. But these "This is how it is because I said so" posts are so annoying.

"True source" - there are several folks on here who are described (by themselves or other posters) as sources "in the know." I have yet to see any evidence that they are. (There are similar folks on the Duke boards.) It's hard for many of us to express how much we dislike faux experts. We're all just guessing.

And no, Giles isn't going to UK.

From what I've read on Giles' blog the past few months, I'll be shocked if he doesn't commit to Duke before the end of summer. If you've read the same you'd know he doesn't sound interested in UK and hasn't even taken a visit.

I have no insider info, but I am pretty certain that Giles and Tatum go to Duke.

Feel pretty strong about Simmons to UK, as well.

Most of it is the momentum from yesterday's news about the tweet from the player, combined with that Canadian guys "scoop". Some stuff has since given UK fans some hope, but then earlier a respected poster with alleged inside info said it was going to be Oregon for sure. Hence the current pessimism.

OREGON will be the choice. cal recruited as hard as he could have on this one. even had some help but relationship between whole murray camp with Oregon staff won out. would have thrived at UK . GOOD LUCK . I really want the kid but my hopes are pretty low. I can't let myself be figuratively kicked in the giggleberries again. Worst case scenario, we have a solid 7-man rotation with enough talent and experience to win a title. Seriously. There have been much less talented teams to do it. If Jamal wants to be a part of it, we will all welcome him with open arms; if not, may he have success and happiness where he goes and may I have enough Scotch in the cabinet that I won't remember his announcement in the morning.

I asked you where UK fans ITT were attacking Murray, which is what you claimed. Please quote those posts and show me where that is happening. As far as I can tell, several UK fans are wishing him good luck no matter what he decides. I love how ppl build these straw men, like they're trying to promote the idea that they're the moral police when nothing needs policing. Especially a holier than thou Duke fan.

Article made a good point about signing now versus after the draft. Im sure alot of these recruits will be scratching their head when Cal gets 6 or 7 drafted; and their new coach gets 1, if that.

Totally agree, Giles is going to Duke, don't know why this is so difficult for some of our online fans to accept. We don't get everyone targeted and now that K has focused on going after groups of top 10 kids (vs. taking 1 or 2) and has shown success with it, we have another elite program chasing the same kids. A few years ago we only had to worry about 1 or 2 a year (i.e. Irving, Parker) but now it's 5.

What hurts UK and helps UNC/Duke the most is the talent that's produced in North Carolina, it's nuts.

And no, I'm not an insider but like a few others on here I actually read, comprehend, and trust information that is put out there by people who get paid to follow recruiting. Just put it all together and any of you...well, most of you...well, some of you can come to a logical conclusion of where a recruit will most likely go.

I hope so. I honestly will be glad when this is over and everyone can focus on our team. I know recruiting is a year round thing for coaches but for fans this year has been highs and lows. I'm ready for our new team to start putting in work and hearing stories leak out about battles in practice
