I tried going to the Ducks Rivals forum to see what they are saying but they don't have one for hoops. The 247 Board there a few guys excited about Murray but you have to scroll past all the football threads to find it.

Maverick Rowan is reclassifying to 2015. I don't know if we've been in contact at all but he's a 6'7" shooting machine.

OREGON will be the choice. cal recruited as hard as he could have on this one. even had some help but relationship between whole murray camp with Oregon staff won out. would have thrived at UK . GOOD LUCK . Dave keep posting please you have good info. the assistant was talking about Briscoe. we will be fine. this recruiting year wont happen again. so we have to settle for the #1pick , #1pg , juco all American , great role player in Mathews and a bull in wynard. were fine . 16 will be nuts. a lil nugget kobi simmons is a lock and don't count out uk for giles.

You know what you're right. We do have a sense of entitlement. We do make ourselves look bad, I mean how could we ever think we have a chance to land a kid over mighty Oregon. We are not sitting up on our horse all high and mighty, we are just sitting on our Kentucky thoroughbred kicking a duck.

What is that supposed to mean? He just got a text from somebody who claimed to know Brown was coming to UK and he put it out on his website. He clearly stated exactly the facts about the text and that you should take it for what it's worth. He never claimed he believed the guy or that you should believe him. I was hoping he'd come too, but how surprised should we be? We already have a talented and deep backcourt. If we didn't land Mulder or Briscoe or something, I could see Murray much more likely coming to UK. I can't really blame him, though I still wish he were a Wildcat. Depressing night since nobody seems to have any hope at all that he's coming here.Oh well our players had better be working hard since some guys are really going to have to step it up next season if we are to contend.Hopefully Mulder or Matthews can be the answer at the 3.We really need one of them to provide another scoring option.

Labissiere is the projected #1 pick in next year's draft.

Briscoe is an elite player that has shown the ability to take over games.

Ulis is a great PG. Experienced and a good shooter.

Poythress is an experienced player that can really defend.

Lee is a good defender and rebounder. Elite level athlete. He will be given every opportunity to shine this season after spending the last two years buried behind great talent.

Those five, anybody would love to have them and they would likely start on any squad in the country.

We just need Matthews and/or Mulder to be ready to defend and knock down the occasional shot.

Then there is Wynyard. I really wish he could be here in August. If he can give us some quality minutes after Christmas, that's bonus.

Hawkins has some experience and Willis is reportedly making big progress in the offseason.

I am excited about this team. There aren't many teams with five 5-star guys.

It's a down year talent-wise in college. We will have a shot.

But Ayton is better, and we have a great shot at him. He'll be 17 next month, so I would be surprised if he didn't reclassify and be the top rated player in the 16 class.

Right now, my realistic dream class is:

G Simmons
G Monk
G Alkins
F Isaac
F Killeya-Jones
F Ayton

If we can pull in that class with Ulis, Mulder, Matthews, Wynyard, Hawkins, and Willis back, we have some experience to go with some major league talent.

he's been right on a lot of recruitments from North Carolina the last several years. Knows some guy involved in elite AAU ball out there.

That's fine, but he should say as much. There is ZERO value in saying "X won't be here" and nothing else.
