Hard pass on Coen. Shouldn’t he establish himself as a legit coordinator first?
To me the intrigue with Coen is that his style will draw recruits and I think we will see a completely different tempo and approach to offense next year. The better scenario is to bring in Sumrall and have Coen stay as OC, but I don't think that happens.

I’m guessing Mark spent all week the week before talking shop with A&M people. That’s why we were so prepared and lively at USCjr.

You don't force any staff holdovers on an incoming coach. Coen can roll with Stoops if that's the case.

Usually, hiring a coach for continuity doesn’t work out, but UK football kinda needs continuity, because the drop off could be catastrophic.

Honestly, this seems like a terrible move. There has to be something else at play here. Some reason that staying at UK is not a tolerable option, because they're going to eat him alive.

If a school pays $76M to open up the door to hire you, that means three things:
1. They really want you.
2. They have a shit ton of money for recruiting, NIL, facilities, etc.
3. Even if you fail, the last guy that did that got a $76M paid vacation.
