Am I alone in thinking both these sides deserve whatever they do to each other at this point?

They both have attacked each other out of nowhere many times, killing 100,000s of people at this point, causing fear, hunger and strife in their own lands and stress on the rest of the world always tightroping this situation.

Palestine is saying “CEASEFIRE!!! This is genocide!” While also allowing Hamas who has sworn genocide upon Israelis, to run their country, pretty hypocritical, no?

Israel saying “they killed almost 2000 citizens out of nowhere they should pay!” Yeah but you’ve done the same thing 100 times and you want them all dead too. Pretty hypocritical, no?

I’m almost to the point where it’s like one side finish the other off so we can stop dealing with this as a global community. It’s infuriating.

And I couldn’t care less about the politics behind this although I know most people will hijack this thread and turn it into R vs D because so many are eaten up with politics and yelling at the opposite side and that is all they have in life, apparently.

Why doesn’t each region have 2 play in games?

I don’t understand why they don’t have play in games for each region. If each region had play ins for the 16 seeds and 10 seeds, they would add 4 more teams but wouldn’t disrupt the integrity of the 64 team main bracket. You ultimately only have 1-16 and 1-10 seed in the main draw and no byes.

And if you provide a full share payout those play in teams that win get an extra game’s pay. So it actually can benefit those small teams.

Welcome to any Oakland Fans Coming Here

First off, a big congratulations to Oakland on a successful season and I fully expect you guys to be a top mid-major type team within a couple of seasons.

Having said that, you guys are playing Kentucky. We are a NATIONAL PROGRAM and have been for many years. With that track record comes a certain level of respect both from the team AND FROM THE KENTUCKY FANS. We demand respect not out of spite but rather due to who we are. SEC Titles, National Titles, 23,400 arena, a top 5 overall NATIONAL Program. That is respect and people give us respect.
One of the things that I have tried to do whenever Kentucky plays an opponent for the first time is to try to explain a few things so there are no problems at the game:

1) First, there will NOT be any yelling in my ear during the game. I darn well don't plan on traveling all that distance to the PPG Paints Area to have some guy yell in my ear. I will ask you one time to stop and no more. Look, it is a basketball game so of course you can cheer for your team. I don't mind clapping but this incessant yelling is out. If you continue then I will take a physical solution that you will not like. I will NEVER provoke but if you guys think that constant yelling in my ear is gonna be tolerated you are in for a big surprise. Same thing for the kids. Sure, they can be there but keep them out of my area and keep them quiet. If you cannot control the kids then you will be held responsible and I will take matters into my own hands. We don't put up with that crap in Lexington and we darn well aren't gonna travel all that distance to Pittsburgh and put up with it.

2) If I have to go to the restroom I don't wait in line, I go to the front. This is an area where I have encountered some problems before so I am just making it clear now. A Kentucky fan has earned the right to not wait in some bathroom line and we choose to not do it. We demand respect. If you have a problem with this you had better go to a "Oakland" restroom or to one where the Kentucky fans are not in. If you do decide to make an issue out of it then be prepared to face a physical solution.

3) Ditto for concessions. We go to the front of the line. NOT OUT OF SPITE OR TO TRY TO SHOW YOU UP. It is all about showing respect, folks. Again, if you have a problem with this I advise you to keep away from me or the Kentucky contingent. I am very upfront and honest when I tell you that it ain't nothing for me to up and kick a man's ass. Done it several times and I'll do it again if pushed. NEVER will I provoke, though. It is YOU that determines my actions.

I sincerely hope everyone has a great time at the game and there are no problems. If folks understand a little history and where the Kentucky program and fans are coming from then we will have no problems. It should be a fun game!

Anybody think a 2 seed is possible?

Yea that Sunday final has screwed UK many times, and even winning the SEC this year probably get's UK no better than a 3 seed.

But who else gets it?

Not sure any of the following teams drop out of the 1-2 seed line:
Houston, Purdue, Uconn, UNC, Tenn, AZ. Does Tenn with an early loss?

That leaves 2 number 2 seeds for the following teams:
Creighton, Iowa St, Marquette, Duke, Illinois and UK.

Iowa St and Creighton are ranked ahead of UK, and perhaps if they win their conference tourneys are probably more deserving of a 2 seed even if UK does. But what if neither win? Or only one does?

Can you still justify them getting 2 seeds if UK wins? Can you justify someone ranked below UK getting a 2 seed if UK wins?

I have a feeling Sunday around 6pm we are not going to be happy if we won the SEC 3 hours earlier.

Blame Cal all you want….but

This team played sloppy and out of control the ENTIRE game. It’s fine to be critical of Cal to some degree but there were too many easy missed shots…too many ridiculous turnovers…too many ridiculous calls….and no desire to play defense. Simpletons see a loss and blame Cal but refuse to hold players to any level of accountability. It’s sad too think how many UK “fans” turned the television on tonight rooting for the other team just so they could cry about it online. The players on the court tonight played AWFUL. Don’t @me crybabies

Cal needs to see a sports psychologist

Maybe he can borrow Reed and Justin's. He needs to learn how to not let his butthole pucker up in one-and-done situations like he has his entire career.

His tension affects the players. Reeves scores 20+ for like 6 games in a row and all of a sudden in the SECT he has 13. Yeah i know he had foul trouble. Ruined my parlay but whatever.

I don't know y'all. I've been drinking tonight and I'm bummed because I live this team but our coach is hurting instead of helping. Sucks.
