I’ve been thinking about this for some time. I cannot think of any coach that has lost his job doing what this clown has gotten away with. The knock on Tubby Smith was that he got lazy, complacent in recruiting. I’m sure sitting in attendance last night probably had him shaking his head at what he was watching unfold. Tubby believed in game preparation and being strong defensively. John could care less about either one. If there’s nothing that can be done, and we have to ride this out to 2028 or whenever then I’m going to note the period between 2009 and 2028 and the period of laziness and missed opportunities. We won a title in 1978, took us 18 years to win another one. We won in 2012 so I guess we are looking at second season that a new coach is here before we see another one. Just getting my bearings here so I don’t accidentally set my goals for Kentucky Basketball higher than they should be.

Hope we don’t draw St Peters again. Those guys looked pretty stout on defense.

I was wondering today, since UK wasn’t playing but here’s my question. How many coaches have won a title after being inducted into the HOF? Cal was what ‘15? I was just wondering the stats of the other coaches after induction. Titles before, after, any comparisons from other coaches? Just something I was thinking about. Anyone that has time I’d be curious.

I've been thinking about it since I saw that Pitino thread yesterday. When I first saw the thread, I thought what a loser for posting something like that. I would never want to go back to the traitor.

Then I thought about it....

Each time Pitino would lose, you could tell he was just as pissed as the rest of us. His heart was in it. Calipari could not possibly care less. The season, and the tourney games are just moments to kill time in between recruiting and draft day.

I've went from never Pitino to.... It's complicated. In every interview he's come as close to apologize for leaving as he could have, I gotta give him respect for that.

I want heart and pride in the program. It's not there now and it's obvious.

Against my better judgement, I am watching basketball.

Can anyone name me a player who gets a more favorable whistle than Zach Edey? It is sickening.

I just think we're better without Mitchell. We can play faster on both O and move quicker on D without him. JMO
