We should start the game running to get line in rhythm. Just as important as quarterback. And it gets him in to game as well
When the line just pointed forward and ran straight, everything worked well. Moved the ball down the field pretty easy. I'm sure it will improve when Taytum comes back.
But I hope DSK gets the ball more. He ran well. Plus there were some some plays he was putting his body on the line. Laid some solid blocks. You got to reward that kind of thing.
No conference is guaranteed an automatic bid. Only the top 5 rated conference champions. Of course, that will almost always, if not always period, include SEC, Big 10, Big 12, ACC, and one midmajor conference champion.
I'd probably wait until I felt like my arms were starting to get weak, but not so weak that I couldn't stick my 12 gauge under my chin. Preferably somewhere outside where I could take my wheelchair.
Imo its there to give teams something to respect. Much better way to take one or two defenders out of an inside/backside run than just straight blocking with guys thats aren't good at blocking.
This^^^. They didn’t create a ton of positive yardage but Hamden uses them to stretch the linebackers and to slow the rush since they can’t dig in having to keep eyes on the jet action. Helps open up other things and fatigues the defense too
