What I Never Understood About Taking Portal Transfers

Well, UK was trying to get Louisville transfer RB Peny Boone in school but admissions said no. That was just another reminder that UK doesn't care about football. What other SEC school (besides private school Vandy) would deny a big transfer? Answer: none.
Peny never made it at UofL, he wound up at UCF and has gained a whopping 208 yards on 34 carries this season. Don't think he's a very good example of a miss.

The light bulbs are finally turning on.

Fair- although for all his shortcomings, I don't think that Cal ever did anything to intentionally sabotage or hurt the program. I think he was just a terrible in-game coach that made some incredibly bad decisions. That, and his blind loyalty to certain players hamstrung our productivity most games.
I think he abolutely did things to hurt the program. Putting the draft and the NBA above the program success is a very intentional way of hurting it.

Garland weaponized the DOJ to go after Trump and Trump supporters. They are arresting Christians for praying outside of abortion clinics. Some of these cases the DOJ had refused to bring charges while Trump was in office due to nobody actually preventing someone from entering the facility. Garland got into office and they twisted that law as far as they could. 70 year old woman got over 10 years for just praying outside of a building... No excuse to keep Gaetz from being AG if you voted for Garlands corrupt ass.

No it’s not a joke . It is consumer fraud. Pure and simple . In order to increase their bottom line ESPN aided and abetted by the SEC ADs concocted this scheme to make It complicated so as to convince a substantial number of people to pay twice for their product .

Laugh at old folks and computer illiterate folks all u want but that doesn’t take away from the intention of both ESPN and the SEC to cheat their customers to increase profits .
You're not paying twice...

You're certainly confidently incorrect though! I'll give you that!

Well...once again if a person already has the ability to watch the games on ESPN/SEC Network (via cable/satellite/etc. subscription), then they can watch these SEC+ games for no additional expense. So I'm not sure how that is fraud exactly.

I will grant that ESPN makes it a bit confusing, but all someone has to do is look at the details of the game streams when they try to watch and select the one that says SEC+.

Yep. Pitino at least didn't try to hurt the program when he was still coaching it. On the other hand, Cal did a lot to hurt the program while he was the coach.

Translation: Trump makes money off these Bibles so we’ll funnel taxpayer dollars back to him and force Christianity upon kids of all religions. No wonder Oklahoma is 49th in education.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't know he had those. I'll go buy one now. Probably get a few for Christmas gifts too. Awesome.

What would be your perfect Nov/Dec schedule?

The tournament isn’t played in a home/away venue. The allure of non-conference neutral games is getting prepped for postseason play without home court advantage factored in.

This. I'm all for the Maui and other neutral tournaments as well but have never understand the outrage over playing strong opponents at neutral sites.

UK has always played like 2 power 5 like teams at Rupp most seasons. This year its only 1 with UL but usually there is a 2nd. Its more of a test to play road and neutral games anyways so I'm ok with it.

A slight tangent:

Time heals most wounds. But Cal is a wound that will fester for a long time.

I never thought there would be a more egregious slap in the face than when Pitino went to Louisville. But now Pitino has been welcomed back by many (most?).

But Cal did something that many will never forgive. He dissed the fanbase. He dissed the program. He snubbed his nose at big-money boosters that supported the program financially for decades. He fought with the administration. He bad-mouthed his boss. He called us Basketball Bennies. He preached the player was more important than the University. I could go on.

I'm not sure I'll ever forgive Pitino for what he did, but he at least has always professed love for UK. Cal? Not so much.
Yep. Pitino at least didn't try to hurt the program when he was still coaching it. On the other hand, Cal did a lot to hurt the program while he was the coach.

Arkansas…

Not inefficient on purpose. Inefficient because of variables outside of any one person's control: injuries. So instead of rushing players back, you're not playing Aidoo, Davis isn't on ball, and you sit guys like Brazile the second half of games.

My assumption is neither Brazile or Aidoo play tonight. Get them healthy; they're not needed against this team.

Maybe the biggest frustration so far is what appears to be poor understanding of guys health. We've got 13 scholarship guys on the team and 6 are injured: Aidoo, Davis, Brazile, Blake, Sanchez, Chavis. Word was they had to bring on managers to even get a practice in the last few weeks of the summer. Not sure if there was a, "let them fight through it," mentality. But that has not helped things.
You did say inefficient on purpose. What other d1 team has a roster of 13 with nearly half injured. Keep coming around as the year progresses.
