Word is Bradshaw playing Nov 24

It always changes brother. Week by week. Player is almost ready. Player needs little more time. Oops, player reinjured. Player almost ready. Oops, I haven’t seen him. Player almost ready. Not sure what is going on, have to wait and see. Player will be ready by conference play. Player not ready yet. Always changing. These are the days of our lives.
I saw somebody say again he is playing on Friday but at this point it’s all just pure guessing

There is no word that he’s practicing with the team. Therefore, there is ZERO chance he plays on Friday.

Cal won’t let him play until he’s 100% up to speed, which will be never, which means he will never play this season.

Somewhere along the line there will be a setback and that will be that. The only reason Cal went and pulled Ivisic out of his ass was because he knew Bradshaw was never going to play.

I assure you, you're coming off extremely rude. If your normal form of engagement is to call me entitled and tell me to get over myself, we can just not talk in the future.

Can you cite the part where I said Cal owed it to us or I'm entitled? I said there was a lack of transparency. There was. But I've never once said Cal owes me, or Cal HAS to do anything.

We spent the entire season debating on if Vanderbilt would play. He plays, he's re-injured--then if I remember correctly, we still thought he may come back. Then after the season he has surgery.

Cal isn't transparent about injuries. So people doubt him when he gives an injury update. That's all I've said from the jump on this subject.
The Vanderbilt scenario you just laid out I think could help clear this up. So he gets re-injured. Now jump into my hypothetical....Doctor says it may heal up during the season enough to play on it but we can't know for sure, but you will need surgery eventually. Vanderbilt makes the decision to try to come back although how his foot will respond is uncertain, and eventually he is not able to make it back in time and has surgery after the season. Where in that timespan would you like the public to be made aware of any information other than he re-injured it and is trying to come back? Daily and weekly updates are going to fluctuate between positive and negative so there is no good answer.

How your body will respond to an injury is not trasparent so a coach can't be transparent about timetables

Even he were practicing or not how would we know what he is doing, nothing would be said. I think he plays here and Friday is the hope but sometime in these next couple of weeks he will play

Yep. Nailed it. ''He's day to day'' ''i've heard he'll be back before this game'' ''well now it's looking like a few more weeks'' ''The trainers told me today he should be back in another week or two'' then suddenly its late feb.

I have said all along that we need to get used to the players we have just in case none of the 3 seven footers can play. A lot of people keep saying "just wait until we have one of our big men back". What if none of them play for whatever reason. We need to be prepared just in case.

No, we need to be prepared because that’s the team right now, and because it is the most likely outcome.

Ugonna won’t be ready anytime soon and almost certainly won’t be back in time to make an impact.

Bradshaw will likely be excused for the majority of the season and if that continues more than another month or so, isn’t ever playing meaningful minutes.

Ivisic might play but is completely at the mercy of the NCAA. If they clear him no doubt he will play but again, out of his or Kentucky’s control.

LOL, you’re a part of the nagative group who tries gang up to bully everyone on the board who isn’t crying about the sky falling. That’s why you’re crying now about your negative always attacking UK buddies getting called out.

Name a reason you have of being skeptical of Aaron Bradshaw. I bet you can’t.
He hinted at 4-6 weeks in the summer it’s now been five months. No one wants him to play more than I do but I’m allowed to feel different than you. We aren’t going to share the same opinion on everything child

Announcers said he did not practice when they watched the past few days. So I don't see this coming true.

He got up shots at the proday and did some drills.. a few weeks ago he was apparently putting in work on the court at 2am.

So I don't see why he can't practice with the team.

We're just too cautious with our players. Cal is leaning too much into the "protect the players" instead of having what appears to be a mostly healthy Bradshaw get 20 minutes a game to help us win games.

He's not playing Friday. Nor is he likely playing for the next couple of weeks.

Once he goes full 5 on 5 in practice a few times without any swelling or soreness afterwards is when he will be cleared to play in games.

Believe me, when/if he does start participating in the 5 on 5 stuff, you will know. It will leak out pretty quick.

If you're listening to Matt Jones, Joey Hart or whoever else that keeps making statements about it, you obviously have no clue how this works.

You’re allowed to feel however you want but when a kid says he’s gonna play and “fans” act like he isn’t I’m calling them out. Aaron Bradshaw has been nothing but great since he’s been here and y’all continue to question his integrity based off of what one other player did. He is not Shaedon Shape and questioning his integrity because of Shannon Sharpe is complete BS.

The same fans questioned him when he doubled down on his UK commitment when the USC remors we’re out.

He’s not playing this year can we we just stop with this nonsense? I have a proposal to make this type of situation clear each year. I propose we put a spot on the bench down by the walk ons preferably called the “Shaedon Sharpe chair” where a recruit can sit that just feels like not playing all year whether that’s to protect his draft stock, because he’s a Klutch guy, etc. Whatever the reason, he can sit there. He gets a great seat to the game, gets to participate in warmups, and above all, he gets to signal to everyone that “hey, I’m just along for the ride here guys, I’m not actually here to play”. Then we all know for sure and Cal can stop having to tap dance around the issue every week.

It's not that Cal is too cautious with the players. It's that Cal allows organizations like Klutch to dictate whether players actually play for UK, even after they are on campus. Cal has been held hostage in the past, and continues to walk into the same situation again and again. Worse yet, he lies to the fans, REPEATEDLY, about it. I'm sick of it.

I don’t get injuries at UK. Some guys are allowed to play hurt, some guys are kept out unless they are 110%. A couple years ago Grady was playing on a foot he could barely use. Bradshaw seems like a good kid, but if he doesn’t play by end of month I’m just not sure what to expect. We’ll then get the “he’s healthy, but it’s not fair to play him yet” line from Cal. These are the games to play him in and get him comfortable before league play.

Yeah I don't know. I get why coaches don't give out a lot of info on this. But we REALLY need one of these guys to play. If we don't have a true big we will go from being a title contender to a team that could get bounced in the opening weekend. It will be the difference between 10 losses or maybe just 5.

This team hinges on getting that last piece.

We have 3, so surely to God one of them plays at some point. My guess is Z will be cleared in the next week or so. So there is one. Then I expect Ugonna plays by late Dec to early Jan. I am starting to get the vibe we won't see Bradshaw play.

Agreed. The small ball line up is fun to watch, but will only get us so far against the good/elite teams. Put one of the bigs on the floor vs KU and we win that game.

It’s almost like not all injuries are the same and not all bodies heal the same.

Why do you think Bradshaw won’t play at all?

I think because he's basically at the END of timeline for this injury, and that was also the worst case timeline, too. He seems to be fine getting up reps at 2am. I would think if you're injured, maybe you should be resting and rehabbing, not getting up shots at 2am.

I said a few days ago, we shouldn't treat this like the Sharpe situation, as that's a one-off. Now, I'm getting a little nervous. He needs to play Friday. If this "will he won't he" keeps happening where we push things back over and over.. it makes me think he and his agents are working Kentucky a bit.

Hope I'm wrong. It would be the ultimate gut punch to see this team of guards, completely wasted by not having a single Center and just 1 PF.

Why do you think Bradshaw won’t play at all?
Because it wreaks of another Cal cover up to protect a player.

Bradshaw himself said in JULY he would be back in a couple of weeks. He also confirmed a 4-6 week recovery time over the summer at one point. Just to clarify, both those comments were made over 4 MONTHS ago.

We’re now over 2 weeks removed from Cal saying he would be practicing in a week or two, which he is still not doing.

I firmly believe and always have that Ivisic was brought in to replace Bradshaw at the last minute. I think he’s been healthy enough to play for a while and is being instructed by Klutch to take it easy.

This is nothing but my opinion that I hope is wrong because I think a healthy Bradshaw makes UK the best team in the country.

However, I smell shit and won’t stop assuming that’s what it is until I see some actual proof otherwise.

Negative much? What good is that actually doing you? If you turned out to actually be correct your prize just hurts our team. You will probably enjoy telling me the fiction about Jared Vanderbilt next.

He has not practiced yet! Cal will not play him until he practices with the team. Jones mentioned it earlier on KSR. I've been seeing it floating about randomly on twitter as well (again, take that for what you will).

Seems like this is gaining traction. Which is indeed GOOD news. Now, dear NCAA.....FREE BIG Z

I get being skeptical, cal has made it to where we are going to second guess everything he says. The changing of timelines every week is getting annoying as heck. But I just think Bradshaw ends up playing and this isn’t a sharpe situation. But it’s not wrong to see the other side and think he decent

Fair, going on how he is acting and how involved he is with his teammates and him posting on social media acting like he is going to play. His energy and vibe is way different than sharpes
That could easily be PR type stuff though.

In Bradshaw's own words, he was going to be back a few months ago. Cal has been using the couple of weeks statement since around Madness or the Blue/White game and both of them were over a month ago.

Not to mention the extreme desire to add Z so late in the season.

There has been no indication Bradshaw has even practiced with the team yet.

I was onboard that Bradshaw would play, but now I am leaning that he won't.

Exactly. Well stated. We agree on needing to be prepared with the players we have NOW. 👍

Just stringing it along. I think he plays- but I thought Shady Sharpe would as well.

Exactly, makes no sense how Grady played hurt like he did but other people ..........
