Filipowski had surgery on both hips this summer and he played from day 1
Bradshaw just couldn't bear the strain Doc
Here we go comparing injuries again. Filipowski had an minor hip procedure. Hips are just about as easy a joint as possible to operate on. Full replacements are outpatient procedures these days.
Friday night. We are talking a matter of days here...but Pilgrim essentially saying he doesn't think we have him for Miami.

What do you mean “we’ve been through this with Vanderbilt?” He was legit injured and had surgery immediately following the season, then sat out his entire first year in the NBA. Agenda much?
Sharpe was a cancer that refused to play. Cal was screwed either way. Either tell the truth and risk losing out on other recruits or lie and upset the fanbase. Sharpe was the lone example.
The issue with Vanderbilt wasn’t that he was injured or not. It was the lack of transparency surrounding it.
Cal doesn’t have to give fans a detailed report. Why do you act so entitled? Sure, having an update is nice, but to act like that because he wasn’t what you consider to be completely transparent is a joke. Maybe he had a reason to be. Maybe it was to try and protect his stock in the draft, maybe it was at the request of Vanderbilt himself.
Point is that you assume Cal is stringing you along to try and upset you and for some reason owes you every detail about every player. Get over yourself.

You're inferring things that aren't there. Go back and read the posts. All I've said or implied was that Cal isn't transparent and that's why people have their doubts. You said Cal doesn't have to be completely transparent. So you agree with me that Cal isn't transparent.

I’m not being hostile and never called you a single name. To me, your post comes across like you feel Cal should give you every detail of every injured player. In other words, entitled to that information.
There are hundreds of coaches across all sports and levels that do the same exact thing. The fact of the matter is that we are not involved in the conversations the players, handlers, doctors, and the coaching staff have and we have no clue why he is being what you feel is vague or not transparent.
I’m confused as to why our fanbase feels entitled to share detailed information that 99% of coaches don’t share.
Also, I never agreed with you regarding him not being transparent. I clearly stated that it was a joke to act like you, and many other fans are, because YOU think he isn’t being completely transparent. I did say he doesn’t have to be, as in he isn’t required.

Can you cite the part where I said Cal owed it to us or I'm entitled? I said there was a lack of transparency. There was. But I've never once said Cal owes me, or Cal HAS to do anything.
We spent the entire season debating on if Vanderbilt would play. He plays, he's re-injured--then if I remember correctly, we still thought he may come back. Then after the season he has surgery.
Cal isn't transparent about injuries. So people doubt him when he gives an injury update. That's all I've said from the jump on this subject.
