Probably been a fan longer than you have been alive, I will be thrilled to see him play. Given all the crap that has gone down over the past few years with players not playing I will believe he plays when he is on the court with the game clock running.
I don't feel the need to apologize for my take on that issue and it certainly does not make me any less of a UK fan.
I told myself I wouldn't panic until conference play. But if we get to January and Cal says "He's probably still 2 weeks away" I would spontaneously combust.

I think too often people question someone's fanhood for basically disagreeing with anyone. It's completely fine to question things--especially given the Sharpe and Vanderbilt situations.
And when those things actually work out in UK's favor--we shouldn't rush to rub it in people's face.

Sports injuries are "handled" differently today than even 5 years ago. There is much more control, on the recovery process, which generally means more time. UK is going to do what the doctors and trainers recommend.

Yeah, trashing players and questioning their integrity doesn’t make you any less of a fan. Afterall that’s what being a fan is all about. After question his integrity you don’t owe him an apology either because you’re 96 years old or something. LOL at the joke the rats are.

How do you know? No one seems to have an issue with mitchell shooting 3s and playing out on the floor some.
I think that most people would agree they want the rehab done the right way.
The problem is: We've been through Jared Vanderbilt. We've been through Shaedon Sharpe. Even the PJ Washington injury led to a lot of smoke and mirrors. Cal hadn't ever seen the kid after the injury.
And so--it's not that people don't want kids to take their time. It's that they don't trust what they're being told. Because they've been told lies before.
I don't think I've read anyone say they don't care if Bradshaw is ready, he needs to suck it up and play. Most people are just skeptical that he is ever going to play and this is being used as the excuse.
It's nice that he made it clear. But I'm pretty sure Shaedon Sharpe said he wanted to play too.
You're conflating offense with defense.
On offense, he will hopefully, play on the permitter and spread the defense. But just because he's outside the 3 point line on offense doesn't mean he can't be blocking shots and grabbing rebounds on defense.

Plus Diallo tried real hard to leave without ever playing for UK either. There's history here and it's not just an isolated incident.
I'll be thrilled if Bradshaw plays. Until he does, I'll be skeptical due to all the reasons mentioned.
Listened to the last hour this am for the first time in forever to the jerk. He argued with a guy who said that RS and Dilly are going to be the best players on the team. He lit this guy up saying that if anybody other than the 1-18 guys weren’t the best we were in BIG trouble. How stupid is that? It sure is to me ! Your best players step up in big games. Wagner has been totally unimpressive if you take away the hype and name.

I'm all for positivity, but some on this forum would prefer to just be ignorant of all reality. The constant singing of "but we are missing three 7 footers!" gets grating. Why stop there? We are missing Steph Curry also. Until a player sees game minutes I just proceed as if they are not on the team.
And Big Z was definitely going to go through warm-ups at the Blue/White game but then he was too tired, or something.
The Sharpe situation was truly terrible, but it was silly to think that was going to he some norm for recruits that came here. Cal has recruited like 40 5-star players, and they all played but one (Kanter aside).
And KU was missing Antetokounmpo. See how that works? If Bradshaw or Z plays, we do probably win that game.
I enjoy watching the faster pace and outside shooting but we sure could you use Shaw protecting the rim on defense.

We've literally played three official college games. Three. Can we wait until December before we crucify him at least?

If we had HD on our team it would have solved that problem also, but we don't, and right now we have zero 7 footers playing and right now we have no idea when or if any of those 7 footers will actually play. Until that changes, guess what? We might as well wish we still had AD on the roster because that's all it is, wishes.
Or, coach could scheme with the team he actually has on the floor and we could stop counting on hopes and dreams and making excuses.

I love how you think you’re winning an argument when you’re not even understanding the premise of the argument. This isn’t about the “reality” of the situation. It’s about what would been different had we had the full complement of players. HD was having his way the entire game due to the fact he was the tallest player on the court and was 4 inches taller and 30 lbs heavier than the man guarding him. When you put someone of equal size on him, his game changes exponentially. To make matters worse for HD, there are 2 more of the same size we can throw at him. I realize that may be a little hard for you to grasp bit trust me, it’s the case.
I questioned no one's integrity. Someone will make a choice as to if Bradshaw plays or doesn't play. Him or his handlers/agency. When and if I see him play as a UK fan I will be happy

You one of those people who are still too proud to admit you were wrong about Vanderbilt? He missed almost his entire rookie season in the NBA after getting surgery on the injured foot after our season ended.
