Ok, so like I said, she is filing a suit about a loss in the value of a degree that she doesn't yet have and couldn't have any evidence of any sort that her nonexistent degree is worth less now that the book is out. She's kinda stupid to be going to law school.
Hell JF they all believe Cal had a part in this whole deal, but only after he came out in defense of Pitino. Nut jobs.

As unlikely as this class action is to succeed, the publicity he'll get from it alone probably makes it worth taking a shot (which, by the way, if by some act of God this ended in a settlement, payout could be potentially huge).

Some girls just like being with basketball players. There was a girl that lived up the street from my parents and she always had NEW players over her house about 8 to 10yrs ago. Don't want to say their names to stir up anything . The neighbor next door to her, that was a big fan also, said he always seen them over there and met a couple of them. They were already players in their Freshman yrs. she was a white chick, just might have like the big tall players..lol

This lawsuit just made it possible for a defense attorney to subpoena all the Louisville basketball coaches and many players. They can be subpoenaed for the purpose of taking depositions, because of this lawsuit. If the case goes forward, an attorney can put Pitino, Jurich and Andre McGee under oath and ask hours of questions. They could all be required to talk in detail about the entire tawdry affair, and they would be subject to penalty of perjury for any lie. I'm guessing McGee would plead the 5th to avoid testifying, which would only intensify the PR nightmare for Louisville. This lawsuit could completely torpedo any Louisville strategy of declining to comment while the investigation is pending. I can't wait to read some of these depositions. It appears this girl and lawyer filed a silly lawsuit in an effort to get attention without regard to the damage it could cause Louisville.

The suit is also against the publishing firm which is run by a IU grad with big bucks.

I didn't hear anybody talking about how bad it was for Louisville or college basketball in general when UK got into trouble in the late 80's . I'm going to go ahead and say that no fan base would mourn for UK's plight if we were in either UL's or UNC's situation . Given all that , I hope they both get buried to the utmost degree .
No, they are a win at all costs "school". They are run like a corporation and this is what they deserve.
I do not think that it is beneficial to UK, in any way. It is beneficial to ME!!!
It is Christmas in October for me. Sorry, I probably shouldn't feel this way, but I do. I have put up with their attitudes for about 35 years, since Denny first became their coach. They envious us so badly that the only way they can compete is to tear UK down. They deserve everything they get, and much, much more.
This is the tip of the iceberg. I don't believe McGee decided to do this on his own. Someone either a booster, or someone on Pitinos staff, someone in the athletic dept put him up to this. This goes much deeper than just McGee.
That crossed my mind too. Would explain Rick's plea for Andre to come out and spill the beans.
This is what I've been thinking about...pitino keeps saying Mcgee needs to come forward, but does he really want him to? Because then the money trail will come out. My guess is Jurich and Ramsey are already making the moves for him to take all the heat
