Think about the incredible stranglehold Jurich/Pitinos had on this info. Since August, the authors have been contacting former players. Pitino then began his own investigation, before compliance told him to stop. They UL starts their own investigation. McGee hired a lawyer in town, who hired investigators.
Thats at least 50 people, maybe 100, that were in the loop. How do you keep a story that big such a secret for so long?

Goodman said Jurich was being courted for the Texas AD position. Wonder if this will affect that. But I doubt this alone will cause them to fire Pitino. How could any parent in America now let their kid commit to that place? I think the mere act of having a son sign to play basketball with Louisville could be considered criminal parental neglect.
