Cal putting out excuses as to why we will lose him.
UK shouldn't be getting poached.
Sure other schools are saying he won't start due to Wagner and dilly. You can't not take their commitments though due to caliparis I'm and out retainment policy of players.
We have had players like Reeves leave before when they shouldn't so you have to take the commitments.

Again, Antonio Reeves missed the deadline to enter the portal. He’s either going pro or returning to UK unless he wants to transfer and sit out a year. Kentucky media still pushes this ignorant BS, Kentucky fans buy it hook line and sinker. The truth doesn’t matter, only the narrative.
Not Cals fault at all. I have it on good authority. He has done nothing wrong, hasn’t been lazy at all, doesn’t promise anything - dude is still 2009-2015 level good.
And Sharpe will not be eligible for the draft. If he wants it to happen bad enough, it will happen. There is always a way when it comes to NCAA. Always a way. Especially when it may concern making things harder for JVC.
If Reeves stays in the draft (where he clearly won't get drafted), I will be upset. Moreso at Reeves than Cal.
However, if he comes back to school not in a UK uniform, Cal can find another job. That would be absolutely ridiculous.

What does Sharpe’s NBA eligibility have to do with Reeves missing the deadline to enter the portal and not being able to transfer without sitting out a year. I"m sorry but to say that Cal should lose his job if Reeves transfers out is really stupid. Reeves played great sometimes. He was also absolutely terrible at times. There were times when he would miss wide open shot after wide open shot.If we lose him, we may be able to find someone more dependable and reliable.

Reeves is a good role player but certainly isn’t a big loss. Not very good defender and seemed to choke and couldn’t make a shot on the biggest stage in the tourney
All of our players were terrible at times last year. Every single one of them. Doesn't mean we shouldn't want them back....UK doesn't sniff the tournament if Reeves isn't on the roster. UK doesn't even get out of the first round against Providence if Reeves doesn't put up 22.
Reeves is the exact kind of player Cal needs to get back on campus. He is losing far too many of those.
But not allowing a second transfer is supposed to be strictly enforced. I don’t think there would have been any good reason for him to do that.

This! If Reeves really wanted to return to UK, all he’d have to do is clear it with Bradshaw, and Cal would welcome him back.
Right, he used his free transfer to come to UK. At any rate he’s not eligible to transfer without sitting out a year.
