The guy halloweening as a woman on Jeopardy is getting patsies for contestants. Pretty sure they want that guy beating Ken Jennings.

Nobody ever answers this question: why can’t you identify as another race if it helps you gain advantages? After all, race is a construct like gender, correct?

While I agree with you, look at something like the WNBA which has been operating at a 10 million dollar deficit for years. The NBA covers their losses. This is the most popular women's professional team sport in our country and it wouldn't survive without the NBA covering them. You don't really think any trans leagues would survive do you? Gotta tell you I wouldn't watch one second of any trans league or sporting event. Not because I'm against trans people. I just flat out wouldn't care. Women make up just over 50% of the US population and LGBTQers are, who knows, anywhere from less than 1% to 3 or 4 %? You can give them own leagues or sporting categories, but they're gonna fail miserably.

Then lets agree that unless you possess any of these abnormal combinations of xxy etc...chromosomes that you participate with/as the sex you were assigned at birth. XX or XY. Science does not care how you feel.
Oh, and do you have any or even the slightest evidence that a single one of the trans athletes out there are a member of the classifications you laid out earlier? Or are these just feelings rather than science?
Of course I’m not serious, I’m well aware such a league wouldn’t make a dime in actual revenue. On the other hand allowing these people to compete with normal athletes just doesn’t work. So give them the local playground and they can have at it.

I have a friend that was born with both male and female genitalia - what is typically called intersex. He identifies as male but is pretty feminine. I always thought he was just gay, since he was dating another male when I first met him at a previous employer. Then he told me he was intersex, that was an interesting conversation to say the least.

That said, I support trans people's decision on how to live their lives as they see fit but fall on the more conservative side when it comes to unfair advantages in sports.
Their rights end where mine begin, so to speak.
Fine if they chose to change sexes(has zero impact on me and I couldn't care less)....but there are consequences to that choice when it comes to sports specifically I think.

Teachers don't have any interest "pushing" this whatsoever. They have so many other issues on their plates every day it's the last of their thoughts of things to "push".
The only thing 99 percent of teachers push every day is their own butt just to motivate themselves to work another day in a thankless, low paying, disrespected job that gets bashed 24-7 by society.
It's actually an issue that is a pain in the ass to deal with daily when kids start asking to be called a different name than who they are, asking to be called a different pronoun than they look, and having to be in the middle of the kid and parents who are fighting their own kid on this issue. Kid wants to be called Suzy and parents are telling teacher to call them Bob. Yeah...that's just what teachers love to deal with on top of everything else.
Our society needs to wake the F up and quit blaming teachers (and cops) for every problem in our dysfunctional azz country.

If you understand the evolution of the human then you understand current need vs. previous "earlier" need or use of it. You don't need TWO of many things we have but we have two for good reason. There are people born with 6 fingers on one hand too. But not even the most woke leftist virtue signaling beta would argue that all glove manufacturers should manufacture all gloves with six fingers simply not to offend or discriminate against a malformity. You refuse to address the simple point. People are not given the CHOICE to have six fingers or two heads. If you are born with XY then you are scientifically MALE and should compete in athletics as a male. You have no evidence at all that a single XXY or some other combination is attempting to compete and that silly strawman has nothing to do with the CHOICE of becoming based on your FEELINGS a biological female and competing unfairly against biological females. Sports should not care about your feelings.
I agree with much of what you said. Your blanket "Teachers" should say the vast majority of teachers. There are some teachers who in fact are pushing the agenda, mostly in the University setting but that trickles down to the k-12 eventually from the coastal elites to the cities and then it becomes "normal."
It has become impossible to avoid the spiral we have entered in order to make everyone happy. We saw in VA what happens eventually. You allow an XY who wears a dress to use a female bathroom so you dont get sued. He rapes a girl and rather than admit the policy is idiotic....they make it hush hush and transfer the kid to another school where he does it again. Teachers in a horrible situation because of elected woke officials who force this lunacy down their throats. Sometimes lunacy must settle to its most ridiculous level so it can be rejected.

What sex do his chromosomes say he is? I'm not trying to be harsh, but mother nature does make genetic mistakes during reproduction. No process is going to 100% mistake free. Just because someone was unfortunate enough to be born with both genitalia doesn't mean there are more than two sexes. Can we not agree that mother nature is trying to ensure the survival of its genetic material through precreation. Therefore, the intent is to produce genetic offspring that can, and will, procreate. So mother nature is trying to create male and female who are attracted to each other. That process isn't perfect, so mistakes will happen. Are those genetic mistakes really additional sexes? And let me be clear, I have no problem with people doing what makes them happy. It's a free country and people should be able to do what they feel is in their best interest and they should be treated with kindness and respect just like anyone else.

There are, as you may know, folk with 6 fingers who play football. And if the sixth finger gave the athlete an advantage then good for him. But you will not find anywhere that an athlete who has 5 fingers says....I feel like I should have born with a 6th finger. Certainly he could find a doc to sew on a 6th finger... But despite how the Penn swimmer FEELS, he has XY and has CHOSEN to compete against XX to his distinct advantage.
This will ruin women's athletics at some point when every record is held by a man wearing a bikini. Its already ruined Jeopardy's record for highest winning XX. In reality still all XY. Men just make better women than actual women do.

Nothing about what I said it factually incorrect. Hell, back in 1962, we weren't far from having the dunk banned in college. Just because something was one way 60 years ago doesn't mean shit today.
