I’m not anti cal but to say that fans are the reason for those expectations is mistaken. Cal upon being hired said he wanted an undefeated season and catch UCLA. Instead we have become an nba farm team for players who are ready to go or not. Cal has brought the onslaught to himself.

And I believe that you and all like you are wrong. Listen, we ALL hate to lose, especially when this should have been a win. The only difference is that most of us realize that every team will shoot badly from time to time, and that every road game in the SEC is very loseable if you don't play your best. It is a fact that no team plays its best every game. The other difference is that while most of us hate losing, we realize that we have a HOF coach who has proven he knows how to get this team ready for the tournament, while those of you who want to complain think you know very change that needs to be made. Well, you don't and all of your complaining and outrage will not change a thing. So, why not just let the season happen and see who is right? Criticize strategy, make comments? Sure. That is what this board is for, but to act like experts and overly criticize everything, and suggesting Cal can't coach, every time we lose a game is ridiculous.
Could someone point me in the direction of a message board without all the morons?

At least two of those titles were taken from us and given to two ACC teams, though. Not really a fair argument.
For sure 2012 but unfortunately there are at least 2-3 other seasons that came up woefully short. Too much talent to have bowed out when we did. Also, if you measure success with Final Fours then that’s your opinion. I do not.
If Cal gets credit for getting the guys ready to beat UNCheat and U6, then he gets equal blame for having a week to prepare for Alabama and get an L.

Good post! My main concern is this, when we lose games early that we should win,and have to play a tough SEC this year, it hurts our seeding, and I don't think any team seeded worse that 4-5 has won the natty, so if we go in seeded worse than 4-5 not likely we win the natty,and that is what I want to see each year. I realize we will NOT win it each year, but at least we should have a chance. Losing these early games is hurting our chances, no matter who is to blame,even if nobody is to blame.
Not too mention he has two NC compared to Cals 1.. and we all know he would of had more if he didn’t go to the league

Well, IMO, (since I'm allowed to have one), we very well should have had 3 if it weren't for the Catstopper, one John Higgins.
