I’d rather have that spark to build on an 18 point lead than a 6 point lead when we need them for damage control. No No No. keep bringing them off the bench They almost always provide a spark for our team.

Yeah, actually you're exactly right. What's he going to do, not play? He can only do what he can while out there. At least he doesn't play selfish. Effort is there. He's this year's Wheeler. Jerk fans are going to pick on him unmerciffully when Cal is the real problem.
What is the why?I don't care when he logs his min, but his snail paced improvement is not justifying the total min he's playing. We all know why. We're used to it. We just have to swallow it. Players first.
Because he's owed mins. He's owed a starting spot. He's a projected lotto pick. He's protected. We've seen it before. The priority is the players, not the scoreboard. What is the why?
Oh hell yeah .I kinda think 2nd year Livingston would have been better for UK this year.
Cal actually went with Ugo and Bradshaw a lot together in the 2nd half after he pulled Edwards. I do NOT want to see that moving forward. But I also don't want to see Edwards getting major minutes. Just go small ball with Tre at the 5 if we have to.He kinda has to play ar least some as long as we don't have Z or Adou.
This is funny. Real funny. He's this year's Wheeler. Jerk fans are going to pick on him unmerciffully when Cal is the real problem.
This for sure but somehow a team paid him $7 million dollars to average 4 minutes a game.I kinda think 2nd year Livingston would have been better for UK this year.
I'd start Burks, love his energy! He gets after it!Does not need to start. Start Dillingham or Reed or Burks.
LOL, never happening. He'll be gone long before then. He's been told he is better than realityEdwards is one of those guys if he stays 2-3 years he can reach his potential. He needs some polishing.
I hate how this board talks about Edwards.
I don’t agree with this. I think Edwards tries as hard as he can when he’s out there, but he seems to be burdened by expectations put on him by others. He’s supposed to be bidding for the #1 pick and he knows that, but I also think he knows that being a 2 or 3 year player would be best for his career/future. Tough spot for a young guy that seems to be a good kid.Edwards is a total bust. Soft, no work ethic, and his conditioning isn't what you'd expect from a starting small forward at a blue blood.
Just stop, man. He's this year's Wheeler. Jerk fans are going to pick on him unmerciffully when Cal is the real problem.
Here we go again hahahahahahahaDoes not need to start. Start Dillingham or Reed or Burks.
Hey bro why don’t you tell us again how we don’t need Reeves back this year and he’ll be coming off the bench on this squad. Tell us about it again. What is the why?
Oh look - the obligatory Spamburger ewok driveby contrarian post. No, for the 1,000th time and I'm sure they'll be 1,000 more, Edwards needs to keep playing, and hopefully have a lightbulb go off and become a great contributor to this team. He's not playing big minutes when he's struggling and not hurting the team at all, just not contributing at all either. Cal is doing the absolute right thing and not giving up on him and just parking him on the bench, that doesn't help anyone.
Doesn't help anybody but the team. No, for the 1,000th time and I'm sure they'll be 1,000 more, Edwards needs to keep playing, and hopefully have a lightbulb go off and become a great contributor to this team. He's gone. Klutch is representing him. They'll either call in a favor like for CL or they'll ''advise'' him to transfer. Like they did to Chris Livingston last year. Before Cal convinced him to stay.I'll tell you this.. Edwards is not getting drafted if the NBA draft was tomorrow. If he did, it would be SOLELY because some contending team would say "screw it, why not?" with the 52nd pick or something.
If his play doesn't DRASTICALLY improve, he's either going to be back for next year, or he'll transfer.
The NBA is not an option for him right now.
