Jebus H. Cripes, I take a dinner/sex break for a few hours and this thing is up to 25 pages???
LMAO

So answer these questions for me.Well no, it’s not his job to “know” that, just like it’s not his job to know exactly where any one particular recruit is going to go. That’s a silly, ridiculous standard. His job is to get on the court results. Recruiting involves a lot of unknowns. Coaches at every program, even the best ones, invest time and energy in prospects that ultimately go elsewhere, or don’t play as well as anticipated, or turn into locker room cancers. Etc. Etc.
Congrats, lucky post 1,000. 🥳🥳🥳

You can't be this dumb. Cal knew, and he knew a long time ago, and he deliberately withheld that knowledge from the public.Well no, it’s not his job to “know” that, just like it’s not his job to know exactly where any one particular recruit is going to go. Calipari had to know. It IS his job to have an idea of what players will be on the roster the following year, and whether or not they are eligible to go pro. Sharpe’s draft status had to be discussed non-stop. And if he didn’t do his homework, then he looks just as stupid. You can't be this dumb. Cal knew, and he knew a long time ago, and he deliberately withheld that knowledge from the public.
Huh...maybe you ARE this dumb.
Gassy with #1000!

So answer these questions for me.
1. In your opinion, do you think Calipari knew Sharpe was eligible for the 2022 draft before Sharpe enrolled?
2. Do you think Calipari felt Sharpe was projected as a high draft pick?
3. If Calipari felt 1 and 2 were yes, why is he not playing Sharpe if he has only a few months with him?
Has the kid been with the team for even a month? If it were last year, this would be an issue, but the talent and depth at the guard position allows him to not be automatically necessary. Why would you allow the number one player to enroll early, knowing he’s eligible to go pro that same year, and then not play him?
Your first sentence isn’t even remotely true. There are plenty of people with significantly more nba connections than Cal, like the guys who work in NBA front offices every day. Guess who those details also aren’t a secret to? Jonathan Givony. You’re also acting like this is just a situation that happens all the time and everyone just automatically knows the answer to because we’ve got tons of precedent to look at. It’s not, and we don’t. That’s why no one figured it out for *months* after it first started to leak that he was going to enroll earlyCalipari has more contacts in the NBA than anybody. If anybody could get an answer on the status of Sharpe’s draft eligibility, or anybody’s draft eligibility, it would be Cal. He could probably call someone up and know within 15 minutes. And we can’t say Cal didn’t know Sharpe’s specific draft eligibility details, as he would know his high school graduation dates and his birthday as both are on file with the registrar’s office. Nothing is a secret with these kids and their records.
Not to mention, all the distractions for the current team. Also, it’s holding up other recruits and their decisions. Could potentially cost us recruits, while Sharpe continues to sit on the bench and not play. Guys like Mookie Cook, which some are speculation a reclass. If he does reclass, chances are he’s going to Oregon. So, UK loses in both instances. The SILENCE from the Sharpe camp is DEAFENING!!
Cal and Shaeden have to know that the announcement today is going to cause all kinds of speculation from the fan base. But, I guess a "Players First Program" doesn't owe the fans ANYTHING.
So, we finally get a number 1 ranked player again, after a several year drought. Only problem is, he’ll never play a second for UK, unless he plays this season. You think for a second coaches like K or Pitino would’ve allowed this to happen?! This is completely absurd and an absolute mockery of our program.
Bingo. You just solved the question of why he would come to UK now if he didn't intend to play???????I’m not going worry about this one right now. But didn’t he get a pretty big NIL deal? I know that’s not NBA money by any means, but it might keep him in Lex for another season to show off and still get paid.

What a load of BS.You didn't even read it.26 pages of Cal sucks and should be gone; and if you disagree at all or defend anything Cal, you are Cal lover.
You cannot be in between the two
26 ****ing pages.
jerry, this is comedy gold
See what? See a Kentucky player being drafted in the top 5 picks and a kid that they all want to aspire to be, the #1 ranked player. Hahahahaha I mean if they come mid year then Yes, NIL deals are wonderful, do you have one? Stay in the lodge, practice with one of the best teams in college and use their facilities, do you use them? Have a front row seat to every game and learn from a Hall of Fame coach, do you do any of that? It helps UK because it DRAWS in other studs, those studs will play, Sharpe's situation is unique. YEP, I can see you clearly don't have any common sense.See what? They can come to UK, never play, sign nice NIL deals, sit on the bench and leave for the draft? Yep, I can see now how this really helps UK.
I agree with that 99.9% of the time. But, this situation in particular is unique. The initial plan was for Sharpe to sit this season & play in 23 bc he wouldn’t be eligible for the 22 draft, anyway. But, Kyle Tucker says that Cal has known all along that Sharpe was eligible. If that’s true, then Cal also knew that Sharpe wouldn’t be at UK in 23. So, he was intentionally misleading or flat out lying to the fans.Well how about this…..why would Cal talk about the NBA draft right before or even during our season? You realize that if he even utters the word “NBA” at all our fans completely lose their shit.
Some guy posted he’ll come back and work on his game for a year 😂
Hahaha, why are you infatuated with "nuts"? That's all you think about lol. Yeah its a positive for everyone actually, the kid, the current team (they practice with him), the coach (it builds his brand) and UK (He represents them on the biggest stage in basketball NBA Draft. Live with it.Lmao leave it to the Cal nut huggers to somehow spin this into a positive. Unbelievable.
This was my thought. Same thing that happened with Vanderbilt’s injury. As long as we’re throwing hypothetical’s out there. Anyone think Cal could’ve leaked it because Sharpe and his camp don’t want to play this season?
And now he’s trying to up the pressure? If that’s the case it’s the only card Cal has other than telling him to leave and he doesn’t have the stones for that.

He knew he couldn’t say that Sharpe would come to UK, but not to play. He’s gonna use our coaching, facilities, NIL deals, steal a roster spot from an actual player, etc & then enter the draft in June, without ever suiting up for UK. He would’ve gotten KILLED for that & rightfully so. He also knew ppl would be more receptive of Sharpe coming this year if they thought he HAD to come back in 23. A lot of ppl would be mad even if Sharpe played half a season & left. But, it would be UGLY if he doesn’t play at all & Cal knows this. So, he knew what he was doing. He was trying to sneak one by the fanbase, IMO.
What did DeAaron Fox say about Cal winning and the NBA?
How many former Cal players have said that Cal REFUSED to allow them to return to school because their NBA Draft slot was TOO HIGH? Boogie said it VERBATIM!!!
Now, tell me HOW a "Player's First" coach and his program could ALLOW Sharpe to return when he will be a top 5 pick?????
HE WON'T!!!!
We are good at getting bad at this being a top branding program. I mean come on if this stuff went on at Kansas or duke of even nova none of that would happen. Could you imagine it happening at Alabama or Clemson, Ohio st or uga in football? Don't think so. The name Kentucky in basketball is losing its meaning and it's because of Cal not looking out for the program.
