You're trying to hard to be clever, and it's not working.

-If you're siding with the Ukrainians and their neo-nazi leadership, and their abusive policies against their own civilians, as opposed to looking at the conflict as an objective observer, that makes you a neo-nazi. Pick up your gear and go fight for Ukraine.

-If you're siding with the Russians and their communist leadership, and their abusive policies against their own civilians and others, as opposed to looking at the conflict as an objective observer, that makes you a communist. Pick up your gear and head to Russia or DC.

-If you value human life such that you don't thirst for the blood of Ukrainians or Russians (which is essentially repetitive), you are a human being capable of rational thought. Congratulations, and welcome to the group. You have some company here, although it's just a little over a handful of people when compared to those buying the propaganda of either side.
I’m sorry-I didn’t realize I had to either be neutral here or be a neo-Nazi. Well, I don’t much care for any of those options, so I’m going to root against America’s eternal enemy, communist Russia, and hope Russia incurs as few casualties as possible, but enough Putin calls off the dogs. That’s the option I’ve created for myself. I’ll go with that one.

I picked him because I felt he was the key to Stoops success. If Bud went high in the draft it gave Stoops a selling point and the fact Bud stuck with us after the Joker Debacle is an absolute miracle. He could of transferred anywhere that year and been an immediate starter but he stuck with us in a total rebuild.

was it him or zedarius smith that had the iconic pick 6 vs USC?
Might have been the first “this is a new UK football team” — moment

Why are people calling them “communist” Russia

This isn’t the Bolshevik Soviet Union we’re dealing with

Not the same ideology at all

Russia DOES still have a communist party - and i believe they hold seats in the Duma?

Still can't read. Consistency at least. Keep it up and your refusal to read the whole thing may lead to persistence.

"Eternal enemy"... except when they're allies, sure. Seems we may need to put dictionaries online or send as gifts so people understand the meaning of words such as "eternal."

Allegations... lol

-Former president breathes into a phone and he's a potential white supremacists guilty of corruption.
-I get weird looks at the store if I pull out a 50 rather than use a card.
-Ukrainian public servant with 5 suitcases of euros and dollars and it's "alleged corruption"

.... media wonders why it's not taken seriously.

It's geo political crap. If they become members there will be aid money and weapons sales and ngo advising gigs. There would be millions or more likely billions of $'s on the line. For instance, the first time Obama sent aid to Ukraine there was around $1.3billion in aid money that disappeared out of the banc. The guy that owned the bank the money disappeared from... Zelensky worked for him. The boss lost the bank to state control because they were stealing soooo much money from everyone involved. Zelensky owns a $10 million home in Switzerland and a $35 million home in FL USA. His boss was wanted in several countries for fraud and theft and he fled to Israel. He was banned from entering the US because one of his co's in the USA was breaking our laws and international law.

Well shocker of all shockers. Now that Zelensky is in power good ole' former boss is back in the Ukraine and back in control of all his businesses except the bank... which he is in court right now to get back control of it. Zelensky has said it's a court issue and he isn't involved. So just so you know. That $15billion we just sent Ukraine.... if any of it is in cash... they are going to steal it. And some of the military equipment is going to end up on the blackmarket. They are that corrupt.

Exactly. His boss was very recently operating from Switzerland when that country suddenly became un-neutral. Got to be more money involved than anyone is saying publicly.

The biggest, public, money-laundering scheme EVER known to man. In 4th place overall only due to the private enterprises we can't talk about.

And yet again the thread is taken over by political talk when there’s a political thread. Pathetic.

Russia - Ukraine WAR Warning: Political Discussions

Thread Title ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ they are tied in together since our current POTUS and his admin plus son have dealt with both countries and been paid handsomely. Also being a fact that the correlation may be why we moved so slow on Russia.

Brandon, is that you?

Jen says to tell Hunter that he left his pants at the cleaners and now everyone wants to look at them. Even with Zelensky paying them your 10%, big guy, they couldn't get the stain out of the top of the lap or somethjng... real hornets nest in there.

And, from Tucker......

'So, with a single command, Zelenskyy made it impossible for anybody to run against him for president. He did this not just to Opposition Platform for Life, but to ten other political parties that he believed were insufficiently loyal to him. They're all illegal now.'

'Zelenskyy has been solidifying complete control over Ukraine for a long time, since long before the Russian invasion and the war. Last year, he had his main political opponent arrested and his assets seized by the state. At the same time, Zelenskyy shut down three of Ukraine's most popular television networks—channels that, not coincidentally, had criticized him.'

'So, it's entirely natural to root for the Ukrainians to expel the invaders, and obviously we are rooting for them to expel the invaders, Russia. But just because what Russia has done in Ukraine was wrong doesn't mean you have to lie about the Ukrainian government'

vh doesn’t mean that I don’t believe.

I don’t even know if this Azov battalion crap is real. That’s how low we’ve fallen with media trust.
What I mean is that every country/side that is considered the good guy has a few Nazis somewhere in its ranks. Don't you think there are some in the US Conservatives' ranks? I do. Do they change the overall rightness of their positions? No.

Didn't Tucker, who I just can't stand, leave out that Zelensky suspended political parties with Russian ties? I have no idea what their internal politics are but if those parties did in fact have Russian ties, he would be right to suspend them. The only one of any merit is led by Putins god-daughter. Gee, I have no idea why you'd shut that one down. Let's see what he does after the war is over. If he chooses the authoritarian route that will be problematic but that is for the people of Ukraine to decide.

That's it with me on trust. Gov and media have lied so much, it's extremely difficult to know when to believe them on anything about anything. My fallback position is pretty much doubt everything they say.

Russians laying siege to Ukrainian cities yet still paying Ukraine rent on their pipeline. Go figure.

I'm guessing Ukraine could shut it down if rent wasn't paid. Both countries need the money.

No near as awful as Ukraine cutting off water supply to Crimea when Russia took it over 8 years ago. Not that was worth crying over.
Who cares? It’s occupied territory. They are supposed to send their resources to the Russians? How stupid does that sound? That’s like the Taliban, after we f’d them up in the beginning of the Afghan invasion with Special Forces, sending the US supplies. Does that sound like a smart thing to do?

I am not so convinced. As this drags out, he might get drastic (don't think Nukes) and will ramp it up as he is now just destroying buildings. Ukrainians are fighting valiantly, and I am surprised (in a good way) and want them (the people) to kick ass.
You know how hard it is in urban/guerilla warfare. The Ukrainians can hide in the subways and be opportunistic for ever just about. Parts of the Kyiv subway system are 350 feet deep. Putin has lost 10% of his invasion force in 4 weeks. If that increases over the next 4 weeks I don't see how he stays. The more weapons, ammunition and tech we provide to Ukraine, the less likely it is for Putin to ever get a win. Eventually he will declare a win and slither home.
