Rupp Rafters NBA Legends GM Draft Round 10 Aike OTC

I have no doubt that Dolph Schayes would have been a perennial All Star in any era.

His son Danny stuck for 18 NBA seasons in the 80’s and 90’s, and announcers at the time were quick to point out that he couldn’t hold a candle to his dad.

I think you're misquoting them. They said he had to hold a candle for his dad because electricity wasn't invented when he played and he'd have called it witchcraft

OK...after going for the defensive wing w/ my last pick, I'm going offense this time. Instant offense. Give me The Microwave: Vinnie Johnson

At this point we can supplement our roster a couple of different ways. I could try and dig multiple all-star selection, all-NBA, defensive teams. Or I could look at my team and pick an 11th man that helps with a unique skill. My roster is already loaded with the best collection of 3-point shooters of any roster with Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, and Devin Booker. However, you always hear that you can never have too many shooters.

So with my 11th pick I will take the career 3pt% leader in the history of the NBA with a 45% career average, and the 16th highest eFG%. He also happens to be a 5x NBA champion. Steve Kerr, G.

Good pick. I thought about him when I grabbed Drazen, but I felt like I also needed some additional ball handling.

With my 11th pick give me the 2014-15 Finals MVP. With the Warriors winning their first of probably many championships, not Steph nor Klay could claim the Finals MVP that year. An excellent defender and one of the most versatile players in league history. Top 30 in all time steals, 68th in defensive win shares. Give me Andre Iguodala

Do you guys want to tell Gossie his team is going to play against other teams that will also get possession of the ball or should I do it?
I'm going full Paul Whestpal, teams are going to have to outscore me.

Also, if you don't think my team has defensive players, then that's on you.

Drazen is a much better player. There's a reason Kerr is available after 150 picks, he really only does one thing well.... but he does that one thing at the highest level in the history of the NBA.

That was the second worst Finals MVP award I can ever remember. It should have gone to Steph Curry, even if his Finals performance wasn't the best.

Iguodala won because he held Lebron James to a slightly lower FG%. Seriously, Lebron shot 44% from the field when not guarded by Iggy, and 38% when guarded by him. Iguodala did such a great job defending Lebron that Lebron was still voted 2nd for the Finals MVP even though his team lost.

He's still a good pick at this stage of the draft. I just hate that he was selected as the Finals MVP.

It should be a playoff MVP. I used to hate watching Kobe carry the Lakers through the Western Conference, only to have Shaq run up against a team of dwarves in the Finals and take MVP.

I know when I think of teams getting up and down the court, I think of athletes like Steve Kerr and Reggie Miller just blistering people in transition.

That's very kind of you to point out, but I think you're missing my more explosive athletes. I'll save the overall team plan and strategy for the head-to-head matchups. But thank you for your interest in my roster makeup.

You need some roster makeup. Steve Kerr and Reggie Miller are two fugly dudes. Don’t get me started on Rodman.
