The dystopia you saw on the leaked Chinese videos is what a pandemic dystopia would look like.. people falling over dead in the street, steam cleaning the streets, body bags piled up, etc.
The dystopia we're living through feels a lot more like government bullshit.

The leaked Chinese videos were disinformation videos from China. And they worked. Caused the world to wet the collective bed. And China, after no real lockdown at all, except for Wuhan, and brief and sporadic measures elsewhere, is sitting pretty economically compared to everywhere else.
