And again, I like UHC and universal income. We can keep all the other components of capitalism and have a hybrid system to support the bottom. I don’t make every facet of a politician I like my identity. I liked John Kasich and Mitch Daniels too. I’ve never cast a vote for any of the three men.

I was listening to podcast this morning while doing something. Guy made the point, which I agree with, essentially we should do some sort of a moratorium on immigration. Only the top .1 % until we figure things out, stabilize our lower income economy.

At this point anything I say will just be repeating myself, I think you and I are probably over 95% in agreement on all of this. I don't think anyone is immune from criticism. I think they had a bad couple days and they needlessly gave the other side a gift.

In just over 3 weeks Trump takes office and all the talk will be about the decisions he is making, about what he deems so urgent he has to do it in his first week, first month, etc. And sooner than that, all the talk will sadly I'm assuming be about blanket pardons and whatever else the Dems have cooked up for the last minute. The visa issue will come up again in due time, I hope both factions drop it for just a little while though.

Their case may not be substantiated via the court process but they are allowed to enter until their case is heard.

The other important thing about that number is it assumes all are equal because they have the same education level. What cannot be explained to those that cherry pick Bible verses, is that their understanding of the Bible is limited, as are all of their attempts to compare it to the modern social model.

Israel as founded was not a political entity but a combination of faith and nation. It was at its founding a combination of those who were descendants of Jacob, and those from the nations that attached themselves to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They were the sojourners/foreigners spoken of in the verses they will quote.

They were not simply asylum seekers, nor were they allowed in simply because they wanted prosperity.

The sojourners/foreigners spoken of were entering Israel TO FOLLOW the God of the Israelites and were required to give up their ties to their former faith and practices to follow the law as given to Moses by God in the wilderness. If they did not follow the laws, they were subject to the same penalties for failing to do so. Namely stoning/death.

People trying to enter the country for monetary gain and not willing to assimilate, were not allowed except temporarily and only if vouched for or sponsored by someone the govt recognized as legitimate. The person sponsoring them would house them and be responsible for their actions, which is why it was infrequently done.

To compare illegal immigrants to true asylum seekers is way past disingenuous at this point. It's malicious in its mischaracterization. People entering a property seeking monetary or property gains are by foundational definition thieves and their actions fundamentally illegal.

Unless anyone in this country is willing to legally allow any immigrants to enter their homes, confiscate their property, and begin living with them, they are complete hypocrites and unworthy of an audience. They are liars and frauds and know it. Please stop speaking with them as they have a spirit with which you cannot reason.

Political asylum seekers have a process.
Visa seekers and non-resident aliens have a process.
Dual citizens have a process.

That process involves obeying all of the laws of this country upon entry into the country. Violation of those laws should require greater punishment to people entering the country than those already having citizenship, because it demonstrates the malicious intent of those entering. Those entering illegally should be sentenced appropriately as spies, precisely because they are, by entering without regard to laws and restrictions, not intending to follow our laws as citizens are required, but to undermine the very foundation of the republic.

Intent is declared by action.

Just as a thief declares their intent by attempting to steal, just as an invader declares their intent by breaking in, and just as a follower declares their intent by NOT following their master, so too does an immigrant or citizen declare their intentions by trying to circumvent the laws and destroy the borders of this country. It is treasonous and the death penalty should apply.

Likewise, when they enter this country illegally, they have voluntarily given up their protections as a citizen of another country. No protections should be afforded them. No requirement of return is there at that point, because they have chosen to enter rather as a combatant or enemy of the state. Those aiding and abetting them likewise, and the latter are directly responsible for all crimes committed by those whom they allow or encourage to enter illegally.

Mary and Joseph and their children were subject to the laws of Egypt while they were there. It was never a permanent move. It was clearly and stated specifically as temporary, and cannot be honestly compared to people flooding across an internationally recognized border.

If they have entered illegally, it is our responsibility to find them, take them into custody, confiscate their property and finances gained, require them to return finances and property exported by them, and either export them if they cooperate or execute them based on their crimes while illegally in this country. It is is a crime to be here illegally. The fruit of being here illegally is also rendered stolen. Sending stolen goods across the border to another country is a federal offense, with serious consequences, and should be treated as such.

Children being brought into the country illegally are not citizens of this country. They need to go back to their parents, and with their parents.

This is of course moot when it comes to the vast majority of children brought here through this illegal process, because they did not come with their parents. At this point they need to be rescued and returned to their families.

Authoritarianism is right leaning. Removal of Jews, Jehovah witnesses, gays, handicapped, and anyone else that is not desirable is a far right leaning construct.

Allowing a majority or minority in our society to dictate what is right or wrong, what can be spoken or not spoken, contrary to the constitution is fascism. It is also socialism. Putting someone in prison for speaking differently is fascism. Putting someone in prison for speaking against social norms is socialism.

They are not on different ends of some fictitious spectrum.

This Republic has laws that prevent you from taking away or infringing on the rights of other citizens. You may not assault them or their property. You may not even seek to remove their rights from them. It is considered treason to promote a law that would seek to cause the death of an innocent life. Borders and property lines are to be enforced and protected. Citizens and their rights are to be protected.

Running naked in public is illegal. Sexual and physical abuse of children is illegal. Directly threatening to harm someone is grounds for them defending themselves. Trying to enter or refusing to leave a private property from which you are barred by the owner is illegal, and grounds for lethal defense.

Crimes require just and blind punishment. They cannot be investigated, prosecuted, and punished based on political affiliation, race, gender, religion, or any other criteria.

Wanting the govt to decide what is wrong based on who is in power, rather than adhering to a set of principles that transcend feelings and social whims, is fascism and socialism.
