I think it's accurate/safe to say that Trump & thus of course MAGA weren't very happy with Pence for not doing Trump's bidding.

At this rate, I suspect she is unlikely to sit for any legitimate interviews or hold any legitimate press conferences all the way until Election Day. If she does anything at all, it will be with a friendly interviewer pitching pre-vetted softball questions.
The Dems can’t afford for her to be exposed in any settings where she has to string together cogent thoughts without a teleprompter. They have to sustain a certain image of her to make it plausible she can actually win the election.

the Dems had their shot to try trump constitutionally through impeachment. Instead they blew their wad immediately. Without doing any investigation. Trump as president was tried via the mechanism of the constitution for criminal activity by a president in office. That is impeachment and he was acquitted. Yes anythibg that he is accused of doing while in office must be conducted through impeachment. Theoretically he can be impeached at anytime even after leaving office.
Impeachment has nothing to do with criminal prosecution. As the constitution itself specifies:
Article 1, Section 3: "Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law."
It says the opposite of what you're claiming. It specifies impeachment can carry no additional penalty beyond removal and disqualification, and that all further penalties are handled by criminal prosecution, which the impeached is still subject to.

There was a riot on January 6. The government has still never told us how many federal agents they had on the ground escalating the riot, and why they opened the doors to the Capitol. But without a doubt, the federal government did far more to provoke the rioters than Trump telling people to peacefully protest.

If trump can win, he needs to let desantis lead the team to dismantle the cheating. Desantis obviously understands how its working and how to stop it. I think he could do it while remaining governor.
