Why would Exxon care? Seriously, we aren't using less oil. In fact the US is pumping more oil now than ever, throw in Natural Gas and they are loving the fall of coal.
Follow the money Moe

Why would they care?

Exxon has a fiduciary responsibility to tell its shareholders about problems the corporation might face. Their scientists studied the issue of AGW and then didn't tell their shareholders of the result. Hence the lawsuit.

I am now convinced that Trump does not want to win. But he won't just quit. He wants the party to kick him out so he can claim it is all fixed. Hilary is giving one gift after the other and he refuses to talk about her failures, instead he wants to rail on the media.

She's trying to make up for past German atrocities from the Nazi era. She is swinging the pendulum too far in the opposite direction.
The US is doing the same thing trying atone for slavery.
It's part of the human condition, we fail to realize the past can't be changed.

What the west is doing now is only going to lead to blood shed and hate.

She's selling out her own people. That will be the dagger that gets her.

Reagan caused this worldwide? You're wrong Moe, globalization is causing it.

We can argue this all day, and quite frankly I don't care about the rest of the world. I care about the US, and international free trade has opened the door, it won't be given back.

Hillary will continue to do more of the same, without question. In fact she tells us that in get campaign ad. The companies that leave will pay an exit tax, with that she'll invest the largest infrastructure build up since WW II?
Read that very carefully.
First of all its BS, the companies aren't leaving, only the plants. Second, how many would have to leave to fund that?

Bill, you seem to respond to words rather than sentences. Reagan wasn't the first to implement it in modern times. That would be Thatcher to thank for that. Whether you care about the world or not, the world has a way of seeping in. It's called Life.

HRC is a neo-liberal, no doubt. But her variation on it is at least different than the Kansas plan. (In case you haven't been paying attention to Kansas politics every Republican Tea Party candidate -- IIRC -- just lost. The Kansas Economic Miracle they implemented proved a debacle and Kansas has finally had enough. If anyone is keeping score Andy Barr -- wonderfully oblivious Andy Barr -- just wrote a letter detailing his plans for Kentucky to adopt the Kansas miracle. Trump's plan is just the same goop on steroids.

Smart, via NYP

The Clinton campaign has removed a pledge from its website stating that all survivors of sexual assault “have the right to be believed.”

On a page dedicated to “Campus sexual assault” on HillaryClinton.com, this passage from the Democratic presidential candidate used to be prominently featured last year: “I want to send a message to every survivor of sexual assault: Don’t let anyone silence your voice. You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed, and we’re with you.”

It doesn't matter. Corporations are sitting on cash, too.Apple had to be sue to even pay a farking dividend.

Sitting on cash is different than not paying taxes.

Here is why corporations shouldn't pay but the minimal amount possible:
1- they create jobs which that income is taxes and matched
2- those people they pay go out and spend money creating sales tax
3- those same people go out and buy shit like cars and houses which create property taxes

So by default corporations create a wealth of tax and therefore should have lower taxes. Which would create more jobs because corporations then wouldn't send their plants to Mexico or where ever the cheapest labor is.

It's business and it's smart to avoid the American double taxation system.

When were they sued and forced to pay a dividend? I know investors wanted them to pay and there was talk of suing but I don't recall it happening.

Plus, companies do all the meticulous work of collecting payroll and income taxes for the government. And all they get out of it is higher taxes, more regulation, and continually demonized by one party

It was public record Moe, they weren't hiding anything, as it only makes their business more money.
Exxon's main business is oil and Natural Gas. No one has benefitted more from the hysteria of "AGW" than natural gas.
What do you really think is replacing coal? Windmills, solar lol, you have no idea how the electrical grid operates.

It's always the next big crisis that we must act on immediately!!!! Acid rain, O zone, global warming, remember when the " smart grid" was going to save us? It was BS, it was simply a way to monitor better power usage better, prevent people from stealing power, and get rid of meter readers.
It's a huge shell game Moe, open your eyes, pull the curtain back.

Hearing rumors that Hillary is a lying fradulent self-serving deceitful bitch. But it could also just be mad cow disease too.

And the only way she would concoct Mad Cow is from licking a nasty Prion off of Lena Durham's fishy, disease ridden twat.

They're sitting on cash rather than investing in producing a product.

The point is this: the neo-liberal story about the economy is false.

Dunham's a man. Hillary favorite box is a Pakistani made Huma-dor.

Deeeeefense, they used to feed you much better talking points, now they are just sending you out there with "just tell them it's false..maybe they won't ask any more questions."

Then again, I can see how challenging it would be to try and defend a lying fradulent self-serving deceitful bitch.

No. That's why they're screwed. It's the same thing that nail led Tobacco. Hiding stuff from the shareholders.

Is hiding better than deleting or lying? Or should you just hide, delete and lie? I'm all in for the Polish the Turd Trifecta....

They didn't hide it Moe, it was public record.

The best thing to happen to EXXON is " manmade climate change".
They're pumping and finding more oil than ever, and all that natural gas that came with the drilling for now has a huge market created for it by the Government.

Win, win, win for Exxon and its stock holders.

You get so blinded by the term "fossil fuel" you miss a lot.

Yeah. Cause after 40 years of Neo-liberal Econ, the middle class is just ballooning.

And you don't even notice that trump is as neo-liberal as Clinton. Except filtered through the idiotic tea party ideas that farking Kansas just had enough of. ( Kansas just kicked the tea party to the curb.)

I wouldn't bet on your ideas about alts either.
