What kind of healthcare system does italy have?

As a country, would you say they are pretty loosey-goosey with the flow of people into it's borders or concerned about national security and it's citizens first?

Are they part of the European Union? How's that working or not working out for them?
Italy's & UK's are worst because they are the most government paid & controlled. Not hard really. Now if we can only elect Bernie.

So Trump is hysterical, the NBA is hysterical, the NCAA is hysterical, the SEC is hysterical, our military is hysterical, our doctors are hysterical, Italy is hysterical, etc..etc..etc..

But you're calm, collected, and knowledgeable. Damn near divine I guess. Who knew?

Got it.

LMAOAY

The entire focus of our media has been pointed on Coronavirus, public attention is entirely focused on it as a result. Yes, the NCAA, SEC, NBA acted out of that. We've had pandemics prior, NEVER has the focus been this brightly focused on it, with doomsday worst case scenarios being front and center. Trump is an elected official, this may come as a shock, but public opinion sways elected officials.

I am calm, took my family out to eat last night, and people were everywhere. People are going to get sick, no amount of cancellations will stop or slow the spread once it got here, and in circulation.

I disagree. Limiting number of cross interactions has to slow the spread & buy time. I'm pretty sure eliminating visits to nursing homes will save many elderly from death by this till we get a vaccine.

BWAHAHA these guys are months away from the border. There is no shortage of boogeymen for the GOP.

I saw on the news Ohio is moving poling places from nursing homes. My question is why were they ever set up there? That is the last place we need to be voting. We have plenty of schools, fire stations and public libraries in this country. Leave the most vulnerable in society alone. Coronavirus or no coronavirus,

Quit being stupid America

Eliminating visits to nursing homes is smart, and is exactly a step that should've occurred. Don't take my post wrong, I'm not saying we shouldn't be taking precautions, far from it. However, this level of cancelling events is dumb, it's going to give people a false sense of security. The virus is going to spread, infecting millions of people, only now people are freaking out too, because of the closings.

So far, most of the orgs that have shutdown aren't losing income or significant income to shutdown.

-Schools. Higher Ed and public PreK-12, everybody gets paid regardless.

-NCAA/NBA/All revenue sports. TV revenues more than pay the salaries of all that are involved. (I'm not talking concession workers or secondary businesses reliant on the events taking place, they are sol) I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the tv rights were paid in advance of the season/tournaments.

It's an easier decision when everybody gets paid.

How do you meet payroll without income?

Here's where the rubber meets the road and ticket sales, butts in seats, directly effects the operation:

Actors’ Equity: “Uncharted Territory” For Union Members As Broadway Goes Dark

https://deadline.com/2020/03/actors...loyment-contracts-salary-1202881706/#comments
Actors’ Equity, the union representing actors and stage managers, told members today that Broadway’s month-long shutdown is “uncharted territory,” and that discussions with employers about salary payments and employment contracts are ongoing.

“With today’s news regarding theaters on Broadway and beyond going dark, we have entered uncharted territory,” Equity writes in a string of seven tweets (read it below). “We know that this is an uncomfortable place to be if you’re an Equity member, and we hear you loud and clear. One of the most asked questions is ‘will I be paid?'”

Equity, for now, doesn’t offer a firm or complete answer to that question. “We’ve been engaged in constant conversations with employers over the last few weeks on your behalf regarding your employment contract,” the union tells its members. “Those conversations will continue and we will keep you updated as we know more.”

What did you mean by "additional impact"? I still think the virus is dumb, but the big scary number is going to cause more cancellations (additional impact). I also don't think the market has priced in the effects of people losing pay and missing bills from the cancellations (additional impact). I went out to eat every meal since the Rudy Gobert (ultimate fear porn) event, normally busy places are sparse. Folks who and rely on tips are just going to be fine with 25% of their normal take this month?

The second part I totally agree with. But that's a different issue as well.

if it's a helpful precursor to separating the infected, it does.

By the time someone tests positive, they already exposed 100s/1000s; and each of those people did the same.

If it's as contagious as we're told, there is no separation. It's too late already

I think all of Trump, Biden, and Sanders should step away from this upcoming election. None of them have the physical energy or mental abilities at this point of their lives to lead us in a national emergency like this.

I hope we never meet, you lowlife cocksucker.

You don't have to be jealous of her. I know it sucks hearing of a woman far more educated and accomplished than you ever were and knowing you'll never know the physical presence of a quality woman like that.

Just think. I get to **** her while you jack off to the CDC homepage.

GFY, old man.
Well that escalated quickly

Since I'm a poor broke old man, (not living on someone else's dollar) now might be the best time for someone like me to enjoy some of the finest restaurants around that I could never afford. Keep in mind that the finest of fine places for me to enjoy a meal all had order by number menu's.. My plan going forward is to hit the high end restaurants, order the best, then about 3/4 of the way into the meal cough a few times while saying to the wife " I knew we should not have taken that cruise". We will politely be asked to leave and NO CHARGE on the meal.. Being republican while thinking (at times) like a democrat has it's perks..

Doesn’t matter how far gone someone is, no one is beyond redemption/rehabilitation

I refuse to believe TDS has no cure... there’s gotta be a way

Well, not aware of people jumping off bridges, so I'd say freaking out claim is a bit over top. I mean I don't think buying truckloads of tp is freaking out, just stupid. I do think eliminating mass gatherings is prudent to slow spread down & not overwhelm med facilities.

Just disagree as I think we're stopping lots of exposures still.

Which sadly is exactly what the demoncraps wanted.
The reason you are a POS is you have absolutely no way of knowing that which you just alleged. That makes you a liar who is playing politics more than the people you just belittled without a shred of evidence or decency.

Lol, looked at ignored content and my god Levi is a nutjob.

"I dont wish harm on the president but wouldn't it be cool if trump died"

Good heavens.

Trump broke you dude. Get some help for your TDS.

Levi? she/he still around lol
levi wants to kill the President

Secret Service alert

We will never know for sure. But if they are correct with the extraordinary contagion factor, consider the first diagnosed case was January 21.

It's a 14 day incubation period during which you are infectious.

That person likely exposed 100s. Each of them exposing 100s. And so on exponentially. Plus that's just the first diagnosis. Who knows the first actual patient.

Think about the new ky case at Humana. They exposed 1000s at least. Maybe 100,000+ because they exposed all of downtown Louisvillea they ever had lunch out of the office. And each of them doing the same at their workplaces, bars, gyms etc

If it's truly that contagious, we've all probably been exposed. The next 7-14 days will tell the tale.
