I do think it's a little comical that people bitch and moan about the MSM and how they give a single threaded POV and how everyone should expand their horizons and look elsewhere for news...then at the same time, those same people blacklist Fox News and Drudge when those entities dare to spit Trump's balls out of their gullets.

I suppose it depends on the definition of fair.

Fair for the first 44 Presidents was winning within the way things are currently constructed.

"Well, the electoral system is not fair...should be a popular vote" okay that's an argument, but that's not how things were set up.

Let's say, things are changed and it is someday set up that way. Now, about 7-10 cities in 4-5 states are going to decide the leaders and resulting policies for the entire country.

I'm not totally against a popular vote and I'm not so sure republicans couldn't at least be brought to the table to discuss how to get to that, but liberals would not be on board with all the things that would have to be in place to absolutely guarantee 1 vote per AMERICAN CITIZEN.

Also, let's be honest. The first time a pub won the new popular vote election, it would be "scrap that...back to the old way" or the libs would come up with a bunch of reasons why the system is flawed and should be changed to something else.

"voters in flyover country are stupid, racist, misogynists, deplorable, etc...and their votes shouldn't count as much as the voting base of the handful of densely populated more liberal areas..."

"votes of XYZ group, gender, sexual orientation, non-binary, race, illegal immigrants, etc...should count more because of this and that"

There’s no need for Drudge if he’s posting the left wing slant. Much more efficient to just go to Reddit, see which headlines make it to the front page to get the radical leftist spin, then sort by controversial (because the lefties and bots downvote anything that goes against the narrative) to get an explanation of what actually happened.

Too much information comes too fast to read it all, and everything is biased. That’s why I like the controversial reddit comments. They generally cite sources or quote documents which typically completely contradict the lefty clickbait headline.

That’s also why I like the twitter posts you complain about. Dwayne posts some of the best content in this thread. I’m not on Twitter.

It’s not about blacklisting foxnews or drudge for not supporting Trump. I just have no need for Drusge if I can get the lefty perspective in a much more efficient manner elsewhere. But then again, it would be nice to have one aggregator out there compiling something other than lefty clickbait links.

This Kurd coverage is stupid, but I hope they keep it up. Every minute Fox and CNN spend whining about not going to war equals a lot more votes for Trump. He's gotta paying Fox and CNN good money for this. It's just pushing more and more people off the fence, or adding more newly registered republicans to the already soaring voter rolls.

If they spent some coverage on what the Mexico terrorists did last night, for example, well, that would also push more voters to come out for Trump. But that story is a lot more interesting, and it is happening right below our border, yaknow? Kind of important. There's a lot of video out there of it, too, Real video, not from Knob Creek.

Per Dwayne's suggestion, I've actually started reading some of the articles he posts and I agree that some of the content is good. I consume hardly any news outside of what I see here (unless it is sports related) so I do appreciate some of the Twitter links that are posted here.

Drudge hasn't been the same since he got DDOS attacked 2 or 3 times around the last election. Think it scared him away from Trump or something.

If I really want to know about something I will research it. 90% of the "news" on TV is worthless. Twitter and Facebook are cesspools. I travel a lot for work and spend a lot of time with a lot of smart people in the business landscape. I'd consider myself more well rounded and more informed about the ways of the world than most.

I consider myself that way too, but that's because I stay at Holiday Inn Express when I travel.

Not really, I'm more of a Hilton guy, but I thought that would be funny.

You can get too much Holiday Inn Express man, be careful. Eventually there will be too much knowledge for your brain to store and will start pushing out important stuff like how to navigate to porn sites and where to buy whisky.
