If you're such an economic wizard who is also an expert in supply chain management and logistics, make it happen.
I mean if they really wanted to curb gun deaths, you would think they would start off with handguns. Over 60% of gun deaths come from handguns, only 4% of gun deaths come from rifles. This would be like throwing a pebble into the Rio Grande and expecting that will stop the river.
I think its pretty clear how this would all go. Assault rifles (semi auto rifles) would be the first to get banned. Then they would realize that, that barely did anything to change gun crimes, so then they would ban all semi auto guns. Mandatory gun buy backs has to be one of the dumber policies I can think of in this country. 99% of people who own guns are law abiding citizens and they understand their 2nd amendment. They aren't just going to give that up.

Trump cancelled a trip to Poland because of this hurricane, and last week CNN was questioning him for that “what does that say to the international community that trump would just cancel a visit like that?”.
Do you have any idea what is with him at that golf course? He has the ability to do anything from there that he could do from the Oval Office. Would it make a difference if he was bowling at the WH?
None of that matters though. What you are talking about is time spent away from the WH. Doesn't matter what the President is doing. Compare that with previous Presidents and see how he ranks. That would at least be meaningful in some very small way.

It’s a sophisticated plot to ban guns and it’s been happening for decades. If started in Cali. They tried to ban all semi autos in the 80’s and were met with extreme backlash. They realized they had to go slow and dismantle guns and gun culture piece by piece, which they have been very successful in doing.
It’s just like the left dismantling America and creating their UN world without borders dreamland. Piece by piece. Republicans have worked hand in hand with dems for decades to accomplish this. Then Trump threw a wrench in everything and they attempted to overthrow him. 4 years, or 8, it’s just a small speed bump. The acceleration toward socialism/communism will be brutal once he’s gone.

I was doing cardio in the gym today and was passively watching a Fareed Zakaria documentary about the rise of white supremacism one of the TVs... It was basically making the case that that idiocy is becoming mainstream.
It's propaganda and frankly patently absurd... it does way more harm then good, images of 50s America and Jim Crow Alabama interspersed with Hitler and Nazi Germany and Charlottesville lunacy and shooters like Dylan Roof and Texas... The only thing it accomplishes is stokes the flames, encourages unhinged lunatics and creates the environment for more of what already happened as in Charlottesville, which was a virtual convention of the nation's unhinged supramacists gathered on the internet and we saw the result.
THen in the mind of the CNN viewer and ignorant AOCs of the world, anyone who is white and lives in Iowa that doesn't vote Dem must be a white supremacist.... a growing threat
