Now, Democrats are slowly abandoning African Americans...turning all their attention to illegals

I actually wont be surprised by this. I wouldn't be shocked if he gets less black votes, but more white and Mexican votes. Illegal immigration is a pretty big deal for Mexican voters. And I remember seeing polls after the whole Ohmar send her home stuff on people that were positive about what Trump was saying and I believe Mexicans polled more favorably than whites during that.

While this is certainly sad what happened to your family, this is not unique to just Cali. Most of the southern states have higher murder rates (a few are nearly double) than Cali. It’s overdose rate is also lower than most states. While you love to think Cali is an awful place because it is liberal, there certainly other more conservative states that struggle more with murder and drugs. Are there crappy, violent, drug infested places in the state? Sure, but you can find that anywhere
