Btw, the current US economy can easily handle this burden, China's cannot. They've been faltering for months and have had to manipulate their currency several times to keep their economy afloat. It usually works out in my favor. TDS has you guys reading fake headlines most of the time and then rushing here to post it thinking it will vindicate you only to be slapped down again and again and again and again....
Headlines will read something like this "TRUMP SAID SOMETHING HORRIBLE ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF FRANCE!" Then, when you actually hear the real quote it will be something like this. Trump: "What happened to the people of France today was something horrible and should not go unpunished." But before the latter is clarified you guys and the social media will have have thousands if not more views and have already moved on to the next fake news take before it is corrected if at all.

He's the only President who has had the balls to take China on and absorb all of the negative press and simpleton backlash at the same time, and the best you have is manufactured talking points, crying about paying more for cheap stuff.

“Doing more about it” is one thing for presidents who trust their economic advisers. “Doing more about it” is another thing when it’s a POTUS who doesn’t understand what trade deficits are and views them as “winning” or “losing.” One who “trusts his gut” over facts.
