One of the most confounding things about this board is that if you aren't all in balls deep on every single thing Trump does, it means you're a communist Muslim marxist socialist transgender shemale who hates America.

I agree. There are tons of good, honest, reasonable and moderate people on the left that actually just have a differing opinion with no ill will involved.

I think social media bias is partly to blame. The companies protect the radicals on the left but weed out and ban most of the radicals on the right. So on Twitter, Facebook etc you're more exposed to far left radicals and they're very active so they kind of drown out the moderate, reasonable Ds. Whereas on the right a good majority of the radicals have been cast out and are hidden from plain view on the dark web.

I also think it's one of the reasons some of the D politicians have moved so far left. They're caught up in the social media bubble where the worst of the worse on the left get amplified and they follow suit thinking it speaks to the real world and the majority of their constituents.

I will say this - hardcore Trump supporters are the most passionate political entities I've ever seen. It's a weird phenomenon. Graphs can tell any story you want them to depending on the scale and data labels. In this case, you have a specific subset of goods rising somewhere in the 2-3% range? That's not noticeable, especially on the things listed there. I wouldn't know if a pack of spark plugs was 25 cents more than they were 6 months ago. Hell, I buy 2 gallons of milk a week and I don't know how much it costs. If it went up a dime a gallon I wouldn't even notice. I think these increases are mostly inconsequential - especially with unemployment being historically low, wages up and taxes down.
