As to collusion: "Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome,.

Even this I don't believe. I don't believe Russia wanted Trump. Why would they not want a continuation of the milquetoast leadership we endured during the obamma presidency? They wanted Hillary and they've even duped our investigators to believe the opposite. Any idiot could recognize that if they feared Trump, they would want it to look like they supported him just to cause internal strife.

The original poster you quoted was being tongue in cheek.

It's not that people can't afford pills, it's that states finally started reeling in doctors and the out of control scripts. Addicts needed a fix, thats why heroine numbers have skyrocketed.

Lastly, for the umpteenth time, border checkpoints are monitored 24/7 of course 90% of apprehensions will be made there over hundreds of miles of unmanned border.

I did miss the tongue and cheek part. He quoted someone else with an image that I wasn't able to see. My apologies. I just assumed it was another ignorant jackhole spouting off.

Agreed that they did start reeling in the doctors but prices were high. But high prices were a factor. If I remember right, it was basically a buck per milligram of pill on the black market. So 100 mg pill = $100.

Also for the umpteenth time, the former head of CBP and National Office of Drug Policy clearly stated cartels prefer to move drugs through legal ports of entry because their chances of success are higher. I am going to take his word for it because he clearly is the expert and knows what he is talking about versus some rando on a message board.

That is what gets so frustrating with some of the folks on this board or other forums. I understand if two people have two different political thoughts or opinions. But when the facts are laid out, it is maddening that certain individuals cannot accept them because it goes against their political opinions.

This is the best so far.

CNN Breaking News: Russians tried to hack Clinton within 5 hours of Trump asking them to find missing emails.

Remember when, during a live debate, Trump roasted Hillary, then turned to the camera and said “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you can find those 30,000 missing emails”.

Lmao.

WIKILEAKS!!! OMG trump people asked for dirt on Hillary??!!

All this coming from the side that whines and cries constantly for “transparency”. These losers can’t handle transparency.

*this stuff certainly can not help dem chances with the younger folks in this country.

They should have thrown Hillary under the bus a long time ago and denounced her! Would have really helped their party. Hell, trump could have ran as a democrat.

I don't know the prices, but I know heroine took off after pills became harder to come by due to script controls taking effect. I imagine prices did go up when pills became short in supply.

The head of the CBP stated more drugs were confiscated at ports of entry, which as I stated is manned 24/7. We don't know how much is coming across where there isn't border patrol. It probably isn't as much, but it happens a lot. We also know that now mass crossings are used to eat up man power so smugglers can sneak drugs across.

You aren't laying out facts, facts would tell you that a border wall would work. It already has in locations where installed. There is no rational explanation to oppose it, the opposition to it is purely emotional and political. It will eventually rip the country apart.

The sad thing is you choose to be an idiot.

Republican manly men are dropping their pants to brag about their pubic hair. Such stunted brave souls they are. What are they hiding?

If I'm the media and if I'm the Democrats I never mention Russia or Mueller again. This has been such a bad stain for the both of them, I don't even apologize. I just act like it never happened and when a republican brings it up, I would just give the normal political answer of just completely changing the subject.

If I'm them, I just hope the short attention span of people and the super fast news cycle just makes people forget about this in a week or two. They have to distance themselves from this as fast as they can.

I would also make sure Schiff and Swallow fall in line. If not I would have the party turn on them. They seriously don't want this still being talked about heading up until the debates next year. This is one of the biggest swings and misses I have ever seen by the media and a political party.

So basically what I'm pickup up on all the different summaries from people on different sides of the political spectrum.

No collusion
Trump acted angry and unpredictable because he was being accused of treason
Trump would say some bad things, but no one followed up on it, including him

That seems to be about it. For example the dude was pissed he was being accused of collusion. He talked to some people and aides on if they can fire him. They didn't do it and neither did Trump (who could've done all of these things himself if he wanted). And they would just go on like nothing happened.

Basically what I've got from this is Trump doesn't really have a filter. Probably says most things people think but don't say. The people around Trump can tell the things Trump is just venting about and they let him vent. Could this lead to something troublesome? Ya. But it hasn't. Plus I'm sure if we did a deep dive investigation into any president, we would find out they all said stuff privately to their people that would look really bad.

This whole thing is one giant nothing burger.

Which cost the taxpayer millions, taken over two years, ruined some lives in the process, allowed the conspirators to walk scott free, revealed the Democratic party for what it is (a bunch of hypocritical sore losers intent on ruining our country in order to gain power). Unfortunate this nothing burger has basically kept America from making the progress it could have since Trump was elected. Though I applaud Trump for the progress we have made despite all of the obstacles he faced.

Giuliani is such a clown. goes on national tv and says Mueller personally told him he couldn't indict Trump. then in a later interview he was asked who he actually talked to. surprise, he didn't actually talk to anybody. he is just throwing shit at a wall and hoping fox news runs with it to stir up trouble. ..

100% agree. Basically you have a CEO of a company who is now the President and he finds out that he is being wrongly accused of basically treason. He does what anyone in the "real world" with his position would do. He gets pissed and wants to fire every dumb ass around him. Problem is he is now in a world of people with a check the box mentality who take everything so damn literal.

My interpretation is he got pissed, flew off told his subordinates to do something they said we can't because it violates laws and he stayed pissed but did nothing. Wanting to fire someone is not obstruction if you don't do it.

The media have to twist this now to save face as did Mueller.

The left's hysteria over the "Trump told aides to break the law!" comment is the most fatuous and empty of all their impotent reactions.

It's not what a president says in a moment of aggravation or frustration. It's what he does. It'd be like condemning Harry Truman because he blurted out "We should nuke the bastards" when the Chinese crossed the North Korean border. Maybe we should have, but in the end he took a much more safe and moderate course, and that's all that mattered.

Agree 100%. But even with that said, a lot of the things people are calling as obstruction wouldnt have been illegal for him to do. Again I have seen a lot of people pointing to a section where it says Trump was telling people he wanted Mueller gone. The thing is, Trump could've legally fired Mueller whenever he wanted, he has that authority. So a lot of the things it was aides and other personnel knowing it wouldnt have been a wise move just politically or visually if they did it.

So ya pretty much the worst thing Im seeing is Trump got pissed, wanted people's heads for the accusation. Being a loud mouth New Yorker, he openly talked about it. And again a lot of these things he could've just done himself, but he still didn't. Honestly just sounds like a pissed off dude venting and everyone around him knew he was venting.

Again can I see people on the left using this as a slippery slope thing? Of course. Something along the lines of what if he keeps acting like this and one day someone actually goes through with something he's venting about. I get it, its not a great look. But again Im sure if any president had a 2 year investigation into them, we would find some situations similar (president saying something that everyone knows shouldn't happen and no one will do). Plus again Trump is a loud mouth New Yorker, I kind of expected this.

There's NO WAY the Russians prefer a strong leader over someone they already owned (Hillary).

It did. “If we had confidence after a through investigation of the facts that the president clearly did not commit obstruction of justice we would state so. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgement.”

The special counsel’s position is just that it’s Congress’s job to do something about it, not their’s. “The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President’s corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law.”
Wrong in your interpretation as usual, your original post told that they have the power and nothing more. Plus, "THERE WAS NO COLLUSION". You guys are reaching but, it is a good thing. You guys will continue to push it for another year and realize nothing is there but it will be too late as Trump cruises to another victory.

Our country has a “justice” system that criminalizes poverty + disproportionately targets race, yet routinely pardons large-scale crimes of wealth and privilege. Moments like these tell us it’s less a justice system, and more a class enforcement system. ---AOC

The conservatives are so lame and lost on issues they are still fighting a windmill named Hillary.
