Well now we know how Chelsea Clinton got into Stanford..
It's clear the system is rigged in favor of the wealthy donors & against Asian Americans.

TX has the best system where top 10% of every HS class is eligible for top state universities regardless of test scores. This doesn't discriminate against those stuck in poor quality HSes & incentivizes kids to stay in weaker schools where they have a better chance of doing well - while possibly improving the school's atmosphere. Socialist BROOO ought to love this.

[laughing] You can't make this stuff up.

You just got a peek behind the curtain.

Once they are in charge, they will regulate the banking industry in any way that will prop up GND.

They did it with coal and nobody fought back. It's too risky too invest in coal fired power plants because of the uncertainty of future regs coupled with the burden of current regs.

Most even on this board think that coal is to dirty and is on it's way out. That's pretty good propaganda.

There are 2.7 billion people of color in this world who don't see coal as the devil. China and India are burning nine to ten times the amount we are and are treating coal as the natural resource that they are blessed.

If you can destroy an industry that easily, why not go for the jugular? Make it too expensive to finance a project or make Wells Fargo pay for a ****ing sea wall if they choose to back an industry that aoc doesn't approve.

Money follows the path of least resistance.

Just make it so expense/ risky to invest in oil/ natural gas that wind/solar will be a no brainer.

Anybody else get the feeling ole Joe is waiting to see how Muller shakes out to determine whether or not he officially steps into the fray?

After 2 years of Trump collusion, the tide seems to be turning in the direction of Obama admin collusion.

Gonna be hard for ole Joe to run and win as it is, throw in some fallout from his admin and the shenanigans they seem to have pulled off and Joe is going to have some tough questions on the campaign trail that dems are going to want to try and distance themselves from.

All conjecture at this point though, but I just feel like there's something holding him back beyond family, age, or whatever personal stuff. Like he knows running could open him and the rest of that admin era up to some scrutiny.

The college bribe conversation broke out at work. It's interesting how people fully accept that kind of bribery when it's on the level of named campus building, but get pissed when it's on the level of upper middle class mortgage. It gets too real.

Any chance Joe Craft or Bill Gatton's grandkids get a rejection letter from UK?

"Greenpeace Founding Member: 'The Whole Climate Crisis Is Not Only Fake News, It's Fake Science'

“Patrick Moore, a founding member of the environmentalist organization Greenpeace, slammed climate alarmists for promoting a fake emergency.’

“"In fact, the whole climate crisis as they call it is not only fake news, it’s fake science. There is no climate crisis," Moore, … told "Fox & Friends" Tuesday morning.

"There is weather and climate all around the world. And, in fact, carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life," Moore said. "That’s where the carbon comes from in carbon-based life, which is all life on land and in the sea. And not only that, a little bit of warming would not be a bad thing for myself being a Canadian and the people in Russia wouldn’t mind a little couple of degrees warmer either."

“The Greenpeace founding member did not deny that climate change is real, but he insisted that it is not a crisis. "Yes, of course, climate change is real. It’s been happening since the beginning of time. But it’s not dangerous and it’s not made by people," Moore insisted.”

“What is climate change, if it's not a man-made imminent crisis? "Climate change is a perfectly natural phenomenon and this modern warm period actually began about 300 years ago when Little Ice Age began to come to an end," he explained. "There is nothing to be afraid of." As for the alarmists, "that’s all they are doing is instilling fear. Most of the scientists who are saying it’s a crisis are on perpetual government grants."”

“The Greenpeace founding member even argued that "carbon dioxide is actually a benefit to the world." He promoted the CO2 Coalition, which believes "that carbon dioxide is entirely beneficial to both the environment, to agriculture and forestry and to the climate of the Earth."”

And there you have it, folks. What is next wacko nut job issue?

the college bribe stuff is stupid. The whole world knows money will get you into any college no matter how stupid you are. That's the only reason Trump and GW got into anything higher than community college. Most rich people do it completely out in the open. I guess if your new rich or only half rich you have to go through middle men to get it done. All the Ivy league schools are full of rich idiots.

FBI prosecuting this and recruiting is hilarious while Hillary and dems literally sell our country out to the highest bidder

The Kennedy family is a perfect example of money and power talks. No way they could get into Harvard based on their intelligence. Especially playboys Teddy and Robert. Once Ted got in, with daddy's money, he didn't have to do a thing. He had power for a lifetime. He could even kill a young lady in a car accident and still get 75% of the vote.
