The other news channels did start airing the hearing when Strzok gave his opening statement where he said something to the effect that he worried this hearing was another notch in Putin’s belt. From watching Comey, Rosenstein, and Strzok testify it is clearly evident they see themselves above the law and are contemptuous of even being questioned.

Why are people up in arms because Trump asserted that our allies should pay the same percentage of their GDP for military expenditures as the U.S. does? It creates an undue burden on the U.S. being the NATO big dog, splurging on defense, while other NATO countries don't have the drag on their economies because they choose to spend less.
The other option would be for the U.S. to drop its military spending to the level of the other NATO countries. I don't like that option, either, but would our allies be comfortable about that? If not, why? Why should the U.S. put more of its resources (more than double all the other NATO countries combined) toward defense spending than our military partners? Dropping to 1.29% (like Canada) or 1.24% (like Germany) of GDP would be fair, right?
Be honest: We are footing way more of the bill for the combined defense of these other countries. Trump can't point that out and ask for fairness? "Oh, no! You realize up until now you guys have been complaining about that our military spending was too high. Perhaps this could help us in the long run. Would not matter though, you guys are so ate up with not getting your way in the election that you will saying anything even if it shows you to be the hypocrites we know you to be.
Also those texts were personal and did not bleed over into his work environment even though they were sent while at work from his work phone. Imagine that.
