Ted Cruz would make libs literally commit suicide. He would tie a liberal arguing before him knots. I might even feel sorry for them because he would make them look like a fool. I take that back, it would be fun to watch.
I would love to see Cruz on the SC but I only oppose it because there are very few Republicans who don't suck, and the ones that don't need to stay where they are. JMO of course.

Today’s news is incredibly important though.

If Trump gets another strong conservative on the court...it now means even if he is just a one term President, we will have a conservative court to slap down whatever nutty socialist the Democrats would elect. The court could possibly be conservative for the next 10-15 years.

If Trump gets re-elected, it’s more likely than not, he will get to pick his 3rd Justice

Has peter Fonda heard from the secret service?

How about the clown that threatened Trump Jrs 4 year old?

What about Tom Arnold making threats to stalk Barron Trump?

What’s the status of Maxine Waters censure?

I haven’t heard anything more about any of that. Where is the MSM?

Very good point. I was not endorsing just amusing about what would happen if he got it. I expect the President to pick from his list. And there are some great names and legal talent on that list. This will be interesting.

if you’re talking about the “Biden Rule”, then no. He absolutely didnt. There wasn’t a vacancy when he gave that speech. He said that if a vacancy were to happen (and it didn’t) that Bush shouldn’t nominate someone until after the election.

I also can’t stand Biden, and would not defend him under any circumstances, but the truth is the truth.

So the argument is Biden said it as a hypothetical but when it became a reality for Dems, he supported it?

This is not a presidential election year. It’s a midterm. Obama appointed a justice in 2010, a midterm season.

There are 10 Democrat Senators in this position -- facing reelection in dark red, very pro Trump states. They can't stop the confirmation and they know it, so they might as well vote for it and try to gain some support from their constituents back home before going into the mid-terms.

They Obama'd it.

WASHINGTON — President Obama has come to regret his decade-old filibuster of Justice Samuel Alito, the White House said Wednesday as Senate Republicans threatened to block his nominee to replace Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court.

The Alito nomination has become one of many historical footnotes that have taken on new relevance as Obama and the Republican-controlled Senate jockey for high ground in their battle over the election-year Supreme Court nomination. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest called Obama's decision to join in the filibuster of Alito in 2006 a "symbolic vote" based on specific objections to Alito's rulings as a lower court judge.

Pubs filibuster was just symbolic too.
