Absolutely congrats to Saudi Arabia for moving away from oppression and giving women equality to kill non-believers just like the men.
The fact that this policy of separating children from detained illegals has been going on for years and years, and that only now is the left going batshit crazy moralizing over it tells me two things: 1) They're insincere hypocrites, and 2) The Mueller investigation is a big nothing, except for the fact that Comey, McCabe, Strok and all their buddies are up to their eyeballs in culpable corruption.
Trump hate knows no bounds. I haven't given an ounce of credence to the mainstream media in years. Rachel Maddow crying fake tears is the perfect symbol for all their meaningless hand wringing. Morning Joe is now just a parody of thoughtful discussion. The NYT and WP have morphed into the DNC propaganda machine.
If you're conservative, the best thing to do is enjoy this booming economy and turn off the idiots, some of which reside right here on this page.

If an immigrant has a valid asylum claim, assert it at the border. If they have already broken the law before they attempt to assert an asylum claim, no, it's not a valid assertion, it is a fallback position. Remove them from our country, send them back to the country of origin and THEN allow them to assert their asylum claim and have it adjudicated upon. Do you not think that is fair???

you have to be physically in the country to request asylum. you cannot just request asylum at the border and then wait to hear back. that is why they are all now in detention under Trumps idiotic zero tolerance. you have to surrender at the border and then request asylum once detained. unless you have a Visa our law requires migrants to break the law to request asylum. that stupid meme about embassies & consulates is fake news, they cannot process asylum requests. it's amazing how uniformed such vocal people are of our immigration laws.

If that is not the law, then it absolutely should be. You want asylum? Assert it BEFORE you cross our border. Period.
that is not allowed and has never been allowed. under US and international law you must be in the country to request asylum. the main reason is because once you request asylum you are now a target for persecution from your origination country. we don't want 20k asylum seeking a being murdered by Honduras while they wait for an answer.
you have to surrender to detainment to request asylum at a point of entry because border patrol doesn't process those requests. so you are still illegally entering the country.

If illegal immigrants would routinely go to required court dates there wouldn’t be a need for zero tolerance. However, they don’t, and then there is no way to track them, because they aren’t US citizens.
yes they are. if their asylum is denied they are removed as an illegal alien.
