The Democrats never had any intent on compromising, it’s why they “randomly” chose January 19 as the DACA deadline.
They wanted the Govt to be shutdown on Trumps 1 year anniversary of taking the oath of office.
Symbolism rules their world, hashtags, colors, marches, racism, slogans and this was meant to symbolize trumps presidency.
The Dems have absolutely nothing to run on, so they try to create drama to fire people up.

I think they have severely miscalculated this move, the President agreed to bend and allow the DACA folks in return for the wall funding and ending chain migration. I could be wrong, but I don’t see Trump as someone that blinks in a stare down.

The left does this about anything that’s critical of Democrats. Ask them how they feel about an Ed Klein book and then compare how they reacted to Michael Wolfe’s book.

I don’t know if the media realize it but they have destroyed themselves in the process of covering Trump. They are batshit crazy and don’t even attempt to be neutral.

What that does to normal people that’s not uhinged on the left is make him a sympathetic person because after awhile, people tune your hysteria out.
