The Gorka That Matters Isn’t Leaving The Trump Administration

Sebastian Gorka is out at the White House, but his wife, Katharine, remains a force in government, wielding more power than her husband ever did.

A wide array of progressive groups claimed victory on Friday following the dismissal of White House aide Sebastian Gorka, a staunch critic of Islam.

But the most effective advocate of Gorka’s brand of hardline policies on Islam is still in the government: Katharine Gorka, his wife and the coauthor of scores of his policy papers. She's staying on in her role as an adviser to the secretary of homeland security, officials tell BuzzFeed News.

Though less high-profile than her husband, who regularly appeared on television to defend the president with his plummy British accent and distinctive half-beard, half-goatee, Katharine arguably has had a bigger impact on US policy.

Unlike Sebastian, whose failure to obtain a permanent security clearance barred him from some policy discussions, Katharine has dived into the weeds, advising top officials at DHS on counterterror policies, drafting the department’s reports to Congress on terrorism recruitment, and trying to instill her anti-Islamist philosophy throughout the department.

We don't need MSM for that.

Cue Fuzz/RQ to post a bastardized graph detailing how Trump is just riding the coattails of Barry's long-term economic recovery plan.

Complete with tear stains.
Go find your own graph. It will show you that the market and GDP have pretty much been on the same trajectory since 2009.
Why do you not want to credit Obama for growth that happened under his term but then credit Trump for that growth that has happened since he has taken office?

In fuzzs little world Trump gets no credit for rising GDP and jobs during his term, but the rate hikes in Obamacare are not Obamas fault.

I believe I have said several times that if you believe that Trump is responsible for rising GDP and jobs then you need to give Obama credit for the same.

I've never been an Obamacare fan and have said that it would fail. It was a first step to get us to universal care. Obvious though that the GOP nor Trump have any better answers. Do they?

Again, one only needs to look at the numbers to realize that the rate of increase in healthcare has been pretty consistent for the last 20 years...and will continue to increase until there are wholesale changes in the way we pay for healthcare.

[laughing]

I forgot that all over Obama's increased regulations totally helped the economy once he left office and Trump pissing on those regulations actually cut into all of the great economy work that Obama was doing.

Obama=Good
Trump=Bad

Thanks Fuzz/RQ

I'm not surprised you've said something idiotic several times.

Is it not conceivable that the economy bottomed out and would have grown no matter what dickless clown was dumping $10 trillion of borrowed money into the economy while the Fed complicitly kept interest rates at record lows, and maybe, just maybe, the promise of less regulations, tax reform and a more business friendly administration may have spurred some growth in the economy?

Or do we just have to look at GDP numbers without thinking like Fuzz and the rest of his merry band of troglodytes?

Probably b/c the fed refused to raise interest rates fro 7 years until the last minute to protect Barry's economy, while Trump's been hit with 3 hikes in a year WHILE outperforming Barry's efforts.

Probably.

This. Should have read this before posting.

I can't believe he is married to a woman.
See, man, I started to think that... then I had to remember that we live in the GD twilight zone now... "He" (pictured) very well could be a "she" who is petitioning "its" partner, who identifies as and plays the role of the female, but in actually, could have a working set of gonads and a schlong, into carrying that person's child, if that person so wishes.

Pass me that gun. I'll only need 1 bullet.

When you enter our country illegaly you are a Felon.

Agree 100%. I've had a green card since 1997 and had to jump through hoops to get it (and I'm a white Canadian male.) It has to be renewed every 10 years which is a hassle too, but I do it. If you are here and can't follow the process I had to, what makes you special? Go home and if you want to come back, do shit the right way. The process is very clearly laid out.
