Exclusive — Mark Meadows Draws Line in the Sand: Next Spending Bill Must Fund President Trump’s Border Wall
House Freedom Caucus chairman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) told Breitbart News exclusively that the next government spending bill must fund President Donald Trump’s promised border wall, or there will likely be a government shutdown.
In a phone interview on Monday morning, Meadows—the chairman of the most influential group of House conservatives in Congress, the House Freedom Caucus—said that there are enough members in Congress to hold the line against any funding bill that does not explicitly provide for the beginning of construction of President Trump’s border wall. What’s more, Meadows says, his conversations with President Trump indicate that the president is supportive of such efforts and would veto—or refuse to sign—any government funding bill that falls short of the commitments necessary to begin construction on the border wall.
“There is nothing more critical that has to be funded than funding the border wall for two reasons,” Meadows, a key ally of President Trump, said in his phone interview with Breitbart News. “One is it is a commitment that the president made to the American people and one that he intends on keeping, but the second part of that is for our national security we must secure our borders. And the American people will accept no less.”

Not only anonymous sources, but the anonymous don't have the actual email, only "knowledge" of it, and the NYT has never even seen the email. How did they verify that it's even real if they've never laid eyes on it? They're just reporting on what the anonymous source(s) "described" from "knowledge"..

Alexa calls cops on man allegedly beating his girlfriend
A New Mexico man was arrested for allegedly beating his girlfriend and threatening to kill her — after Amazon’s Alexa called police, authorities said.
Eduardo Barros, 28, became angered with his unidentified girlfriend while house-sitting in Tijeras, about 15 miles east of Albuquerque, and the dispute suddenly turned physical on July 2, authorities said.
During the assault, Barros waved a gun and threatened to kill the woman before he allegedly asked: “Did you call the sheriffs?”
The question was inadvertently picked up by the smart speaker and the voice-powered virtual assistant recognized the phrase as a command — prompting it to call 911, Bernallillo County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Felicia Romero confirmed to The Post on Monday.

Yeah. Although, I thought in order to give it a command you had to actually activate it by saying "Alexa" before your command? That didn't happen in this case. Kind of disturbing that you could be sitting around talking about sheriffs and this machine could randomly call the police to your house.
Judge releases ‘mentally ill’ man who allegedly tried stealing cop’s gun
A deranged man allegedly stormed into a Brooklyn police station house and attempted to steal a cop’s firearm over the weekend — and was then let back on the street by a judge without bail.
Kurdel Emmanuel lunged at the officer inside the 83rd Precinct Station house Saturday and violently clutched her firearm belt while attempting to yank out her service weapon, according to court papers.
At his arraignment Sunday, Emmanuel was hit with a slew of charges, including assault on a police officer, attempted criminal possession of a weapon and attempted robbery.
Prosecutors asked Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge Loren Baily-Schiffman to hold him in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Instead, she ordered Emmanuel released on his own recognizance.
Ed Mullins, head of the Sergeant’s Benevolence Association, said the suspect is “mentally ill,” and sent out a safety alert describing him and urging cops to “remain cautious.”
Mullins claimed Emmanuel would have “killed police officers” if he’d gotten hold of the gun.
Law enforcement slammed the judge for the release — which took place on the eve of a wake for Officer Miosotis Familia, who was killed by an apparently mentally disturbed man last Wednesday.
“Prosecutors are taking this case seriously but the judge clearly didn’t,” one source said.
Dennis Quirk, president of the New York State Court Officers Association, declared, “This idiot should be removed from the bench.”
When called for comment Sunday, Baily-Schiffman hung up on a reporter.

I thought Republicans would put country over party, especially if it involved something as serious as treason or collusion, but I was wrong.
